It's a lot different than it used to be. Brunch doesn't have omelet bar and a lot of the other little things that made it so nice in the past.
We went there for their Thanksgiving buffett, it was amazing! All of there food was delicious. They had so muxh to choose from, everything was cooked to perfection. With all of the people they had to serve, you'd think it would've been a huge cluster, but it wasn't! It ran so smoothly! Great job to the staff, they did an amazing job and all a while made everyone feel welcome with huge smiles on every single one of their faces.
The food was good and hot! Great turkey and prime rib! Home made cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes! Mmmm!
Food is good, service is decent. The price is wonderful, $25 for two lunch buffets and two drinks! Where do you find those prices anymore?
Have been going here for years. Now under new name and owners I will continue going. Enjoy the food and the mountain air.
First time going there since the new owners took over. It had been updated. BUT. They need to replace or maybe give the chef/cook a lesson as to how to make a decent soup! Seriously. AWFUL!!! As least the meat carvings were good.
A nice lunch buffet for the price. Newer ownership and updated. Gift shop is gone. Bar is new and updated. We go here every time we visit the Laurel Highlands and have enjoyed it each time. Hope you try it too.
Food was good as always. Somewhat smaller selection, but for startup of new owners, it was good. Would like to see the white table cloths again. The black tables make it appear more like a diner. At the increased prices, which still represent good value, I think the ambience could be improved a bit. Will certainly go back.
Happened to be here for the opening weekend of their new bar. Great beer list. Southern tier, fat head, terrapin, and other craft brews on draft. Didn't even touch the bottles, but there was more I could have tried. Had a burger at the bar and it was delicious. Highly recommend the tater tots as a side also. I didn't have the cole slaw but my friends told me it was great. Seriously stop by if you're in the are at seven springs or hidden valley.
Today after church, 14 of us decided to drive up to Oakhurst to try the Sunday Brunch Buffet. This was our first visit since the new owners took over. We didn't make a reservation because it was a last minute decision. I felt bad because they were so busy and here we were showing up with 14 people. We didn't expect to be seated all together but much to our surprise they put enough tables together to accommodate all of us. That was awesome! The food was delicious and everything was hot and fresh. We also enjoyed the dessert selection. I can't say enough about our waitress. As busy as they were we never had to wait for a refill nor did we ever have a dirty plate on our table. Great job! Thanks to the Oakhurst staff for going above and beyond to make our visit a great one.
Went for seafood this Friday, everything was terrific! Friendly staff and excellent service! Will definitely return.
Great Food and Great Service! Crab Legs are cooked to perfection. They don't get rubbery like most buffets. Desserts are also excellent, we took a cake to go!
Clean place. Descent prices. Desserts were dry and boring. Hot food on buffet at best was bland, barely warm and sat for hours without being even stirred. Salad bar sucked. Best thing there was ambrosia salad. Waitress was nice. Staff kept staring and watching us. After we went through and started stirring everything, staff finally started stirring stuff. But honestly, the food needed tossed out and fresh needed to be put out. Don't waste your money going here. Sorry. We will not be back
Buffet was excellent with a lot of choices. Staff was friendly and attentive. Dessert was top notch. Will be returning soon.
