Great pub food! It like visiting a local pub in jolly ole. Rugby, Cricket, or Steeplechase always on. Great selection of imported beers, ales, porters, stouts on tap. Bit of hike, but always worth the trip!

A gem in the middle of nowhere! Excellent British meals served in pub-style ambience. English sport channels shown on several wall-mounted televisions. Very busy at peak times, expect to wait. Can be rather noisy!

Favorite restaurant hands down. Do you have a first date coming up? Bring her here. She's will fall for you Or at least the food. Man it's so good I'm literally begging to go there nowI need this in my life. Did I mention the dessert!! Blueberry buckle is so good. Outside seating is fantastic with a little Creek running behind it. Parking sucks, but there is free valet on the weekends. Want to know why!? Because they are that good

This is one of my favorite places. Nestled in horse country, a great ride to this destination. Love the style and layout, and excellent menu. Awesome beer selection!

    Unfortunate first experience, never returning.
We wouldn't have an experience to write about if a manager hadn't come to our table to get our drink order. We were just about to get up and leave after waiting for almost 10 minutes for someone to greet us (wouldn't have waited so long if we hadn't driven for more than 30 min to get here and weren't so hungry). Immediately after the manager took our order the server came over with no greet and no recognition of our wait. We are normally patient people, but watched as 4 tables around us were greeted and got their drinks in the time we waited to be acknowledged. The star above is for the food, which was good but overpriced for the portion, and the good shape of the beer, except my husband also received the wrong sandwich and no one came to check how things were for again almost 10 minutes so he just decided to eat it. I only wish we had as good of an experience as other reviewers, as we may have frequently returned, but will not because of this first experience.
    Sincerely,
    Disappointed

The Whip consistently serves fabulous British fare: their Bangers & Mash, Shepherd's Pie, Fish & Chips, and Beef on Weck are all wonderfully good when you add a side of Mushy Pea's to your order! The Scotch Egg and Welsh Rarebit appetizers are delightful and you must save room for dessert! Sticky Toffee Pudding is not to be missed to round off your British dining experience.

But fear not, the Chef is always offering the freshest the most delicious menus, featuring the best flavors of local grown and raised produce and prime cuts as well. His creativity and ability to bring those culinary dreams to life knows no bounds. The menu changes with the seasons and I've never had a dinner or lunch there that wasn't a delight to the taste buds yet!

Appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches at lunchtime, full course dinnersyou will find something to make your mouth happy and to satisfy your tummy all on the same plate.

They also have an extensive beer list: many available on tap, the rest by the bottle, featuring a heavy selection from England, Scotland, Ireland, the USA. There are other countries represented, so I'm sure you'll fine one or two to your liking.

It's a small and intimate place, and it folks up quickly. Parking has always been a problem, so come early and plan to stay a while to soak up the atmosphere and watch a good rugby match while you're there. It's also a friendly place as you're quickly absorbed by the local crowd.

Kick back, relax and enjoy the true pace, friendly atmosphere and awesome food of a real British Pub right here in Chester County!

Everything about this place is stellar; the beer, the food, the service, atmosphere, all of it except the parking. Do yourself a favor and carpool here if meeting friends, they have a very limited parking lot but its always well worth making the trip.

Cozy place that we love so much. Does get very crowded but the wait is worth it. Traditional pub fair and great beer selection.
