Wow! Really there are no other words to describe what an experience dining with Patrick and his staff was. We had the tasting menu and chose to pair wine with our courses and could truly have not been happier with everything from beginning to end. Our courses ranged from foie gras that was perfection, to branzino that could not have been cooked better. I chose lobster for my main course, kind of silly since I'm from new England but the consomme was delicious and like nothing I have ever had before with my lobster. I used the owner Patrick's name because by the time dinner was over (sad) we felt like Patrick's friends. If we are ever in Miami again this is number one on our list to return to.

Perfect place. Much better than their competitors cross of the street. Highly recommend to all visitors!! A vine card is amazing!!

My absolute favorite restaurant on the Beach, a hidden gem. I picked this place for three of my birthday dinners here, that's how amazing they are. The menu changes all the time, keeping it interesting for locals. Their foie gras or duck confit is to die for! I love the decor, the service, the wine selection, just everything!

I just moved to Miami but I used to go there 3-4 times a year never and I discovered le Pied a terre last Sunday what a beautiful surprise !!! I am French and this is really gastronomic food for a totally decent price. Our waiter Mathieu was of very good advice he did an amazing job. And congratulations for the menu. I don't eat meat but my boyfriend still talks about the duck confit salad as for me I had the best risotto of my life (black truffle celery risotto without rice !!!). Then my Atlantic Cod served with caviar and champagne sauce was just cooked to PERFECTION last but not least I am in "pamoison" for the desser Crème Brûlée.
And the La Bastide rose wine was so good we bought the bottle !!!
As a matter of fact I am coming back tonight with a friend. Writing this post and the delightful reminiscence of this dinner ont eu raison de moi !!!

The best restaurant in Miami if you look for a fine dining experience! This restaurant is worth 1 Michelin star! If you love fois gras and a good "riz de veau", French cheese or other french specialities, you have to come here! Don't be fooled by the entrance of the hotel it's not what it seems from the outside, it's small Paris in the middle of Miami, you won't regret it!!!

A genuine French restaurant, with the quality and service you would find in Michelin starred restaurants. Pied à Terre was a very lucky discovery for our special day, we were in the area and decided to try it out. It is a very intimate place, a small dining room and we were lucky that it was not too crowded. There is no loud music but a pleasant background buzz. We wanted a quiet dinner where we could talk and we got exactly that.
Patrick, the restaurant manager came to talk to us, introduced himself, and described the food as contemporary French. He was very nice and pleasant. Dishes are refined, tasty, delicious and healthy at the same time. We left the restaurant fully satisfied, but not overfed. Being French myself, I was very happy to be able to have the "ris de veau", one of my favorite French delicacies and it was delicious. The whole meal was excellent and very original and the description given to us by our waiter Kyril and Patrick was spot on. I am only sorry that we didn't get to try any of the other dishes, and desserts, that were out of this world. After dinner, our waiter took the time to show us the outside patios that are open in the cooler season, as well as the "Whiskey Box", a small private dining room for small parties. The cost is very comparable to other French restaurant we have been to, but I would say that the quality was the best that we have encountered so far in the area. Our favorite restaurant in Miami. Wonderful food, great service, in a quaint hotel. Every meal we have had there has been an experience that we remember fondly . . . wish they were in San Jose.

By far the worst restaurant in Miami Beach, I can not figure out how it is still open. The owner is a very rude man. Takes no pride in customer service. Food is about 3 decades to old and the restaurant itself is stuffy, small and outdated. You will be VERY disappointed if you go here. There are too many great restaurants in Miami Beach, especially in that area. Avoid this place like the plague

This is a TOP restaurant in Miami. First of all the owner will take the time to give you a full explanation about the menu, ingredient, how they cook and prepare your diner. The second, is the only place I know in Miami that is not afraid to make you try different wine before you place your order!
Service is perfect, nothing to say about it.
Food is just AAA++, trust me, I've been to more than 5000 restaurant in my life, and this one is going to my top 5!
