The food is aways good here and I love the patio in the summer or the window seats in the winter. My suggestion is the tostada!
Ok-ish Mexican. If you’re from the southwest, it might even be considered crappy but passable in Wyoming.
Overpriced for the quality of food, taco al pastor was dried out and had no pineapple flavor. The big issue i had was the service. No refills on tea and i had tipped well at the register. Also, when you have a restaurant with an open kitchen and cooks in plain view you may want to instruct them to not be eating while cooking. Guy at the register had chips and quacamole he was eating while handling money and drinks. I didn't get sick but someone will!
If you're from anywhere in the west or south (near Mexico) Pica's will not blow your socks off. However, for good Mexican food and margheritas on a nice ourdoor decknin summer, Pica's is the spot. Good guac and highly recommend the wet burrito. I don't usually like to eat my burritos with a knife and fork, but I make an exception for Pica's wet burrito.
Worst taco I've had
This was my worst taco of the whole trip - we asked for veggie burrito and quesadillas - we got
Rice beans and some feta type cheese in the borrito which was tasteless - for the quesadillas we had only a small amount of cheese barely tasting like anything - we went on a recommendation from.a local and wouldn't return
Original dishes, great food in a casual atmosphere. Dog friendly patio.
Great food and great atmosphere. An excellent place for families and groups!
The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I've never bothered to write a Google review before, if that's any indication of the type of service necessary for me to do something like this. My girlfriend has a serious food allergy, so when a meal was brought that contained that allergen we politely sent it back. Then, I was brought the wrong meal. The servers were clearly overwhelmed and understaffed, so this wasn't a big deal. I asked for the correct meal to be made, and the guy apologized and said he put the order in. I waited an hour for this, and then asked about the status of the meal. The waiters became angry that I hadn't checked in again sooner, but I stayed calm and explained that I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. They angrily whispered about us while they halfheartedly attempted to give us our money back (which they did not do in full. We left town the day and just said forget it). The kicker is that the food apparently tasted like a toboggan coated in aardvark urine, and all so that some rich ski "bums" from Maryland could afford top shelf sativa and Fat Tire while they waited for the snow to return. DO NOT GO TO PICA'S.
Loyal customer, go there 2 or 3 times a month, ordered to go dinner,
15% tip for them to put it in a bag to go, sat there there for over 10 minutes watching my order get colder & colder thinking well that must not be mine since the keep walking by it & don't give it to me. Of course it was mine & when I asked if it could be reheated I was assured it was" piping hot" since it was under heaters . Luke warm & soggy. Incompetent uncaring help. Used to be the go to place but I will be finding someplace new
there is oa word that describes when ypu both vomit and have diarrhea at the same time
that one word describes this place perfectly

Probably the best Mexican restaurant in Jackson. Of course if you're a lover of Mexican food you'll have had better. But isn't that the problem with Mexican food? There is always a better place? Someone always knows of "that" Mexican place with the best food? Regardless we were craving Mexican and this hit the spot.
Let me start by saying the food was ok. However, the service was horrible. From the get go I was not sure if I ordered from the table or at the register. Do I clean up my own plates or not? Wasn't sure. The place was full of local yuppies and the tables were all covered in food. Not really friendly to tourists. Go for it if you want but I'll never go back.
