I have been a regular at Phoenix City Grille for the past 15 years. The daily specials in addition to the regular menu mean I have different options each time I go there. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is happy and subdued, and it is a great place to take a client you want to impress or a client you want to keep. My friends have followed me there over the years and now they are regulars.

Central Phoenix, where I have lived for 60+ years, has been overrun with new restaurants in the last few years. I have tried many of them and it has been hit or miss foodwise but all suffer from either loud music or poor acoustics. It is nearly impossible to carry on a conversation in any one of the "new guys." Good conversation should enhance the dining experience and I love PCG because it allows the wonderful food coming out of their kitchen to be part of a complete dining experience. The decor is warm and welcoming and the staff from kitchen to bar to waitstaff are all phenomenal. I've tried most of the new places and find that I dine out at PCG 90% of the time I want to go out.

Excellent service - efficient and friendly. Great food. The cedar plank salmon was done perfectly. One of our favorite restaurants.

Great food and service. Bar area is just constantly ruined by a loud, lispy, drunken regular. Not sure why they tolerate him. 5 stars when he isn’t around and a 1 when he is which is sadly a lot.

The food is delicous. I have been going to the Phoenix City for at least 15 years. I have nothing but good to say about this fabulous place. That's why I keep going back!

Walked in and was seated immediately. Server was very patient in helping choose a beer from an extensive menu. Asked for recommendation for dinner and went by suggestion. Great choice! Attentive staff and great meal! Saw owner helping serve and bus tables due to staff shortage. Atmosphere - dark and romantic. Highly recommend! :-)

Have been dining here 2 or 3 times a year for the last 10 years and have never had a bad meal or bad experience. Classy place. Best bread pudding in the world!

Delicious!! Our party had the short ribs, the Baja shrimp and the roasted vegetable dish and enjoyed them all. Loved the warm chocolate torte for dessert. Service was outstanding. Would highly recommend!!

“Awesome food!”
I was in AZ for a month and this was the best meal I've had! My husband had the meatloaf and loved it, I had the sea food special that had scallops, sea bass and crab cake. My wife and I very much enjoyed our Valentine's Day lunch at Phoenix City Grille. Original Griddled Corn Cakes were unique and excellent, and Baby Back Pork Ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender with a wonderful flavor (re: ribsI'm very particular, and PCG scored a perfect '10'!). We split a Roasted Beet Salad for an appetizer great! PCG offers 4 or 5 daily specials in addition to their wonderful regular menu, so I'm sure you'd find something to please your palate. To top it off, we received excellent service. Reasonable prices. Great restaurant.
