The store is a one stop shop for all Persian/Middle Eastern groceries! They even have some great Persian sweets and breads frozen so that they stay fresh. I highly recommend you visit Peyvand you'll find lots of things you need and didn't even realize you needed!

Also, the store owner is a very nice man who is always a pleasure each time I visit. Highly recommend!!!

I’m not sure what the issue is Alford those who are rating this store less than it deserves. The store is the only one serving the Persian community in the north and has everything needed. Yes, it’s run by an older gentleman who might need time to get to the front if there is a customer. For the person suggesting the owner was rude to women, it’s absolutely untrue. I’ve shopped on my own as a woman and also with my mom He’s always been cheerful, polite and helpful.

Great little Persian store that has everything you might need for your Persian pantry/kitchen. The owner is very kind and helpful, the prices are very reasonable too. My wife and I always try to stop in there whenever we are in Chicago.

The best Iranian/Persian mini market . Thanks to Peyvand food we made a delicious Persian soup called Ash. The only negative thing is the pricing. Everything is expensive but, IT WORTH IT. They have a lot of real Iranian stuff. Go there and explore what Iranian food is like.
