Amazing staff and great environment. They have daily specials for both food and drinks. Throughout the week, they offer a little for everyone. Definitely will be going back soon!

Nice local spot for a cold beer to watch the game. Far from a tourist attraction. It's absolutely a locals bar.

Nice place! Much better than the toilet water lounge (Aqua Lounge) across the street. Awesome chips and salsa! Georgia is awesome!

Just finished one of the best 1/2 lb burgers I've had in a long time! Perfectly cooked to order and came with all the fixings for $5!!!! The service was great and Christine is one of the best bartenders in the area! HIGHLY recommend Pete Mitchell's!! Mike and Renee are definitely operating a top notch bar!

Great food, good time but I was charged 75 cents for a tiny container of extra salsa. Also, I omitted the onion that came w my burger, my sister asked for onion & she was charged 75 cents for it & 75 cents for her 1 tomato slice, she could have had mine for free. The server never offered the option or told us about the additional charge. Just saying..

We went there on a Saturday night with what looked to be their regular crowd having fun. We were the only non-regulars there so we sat ourselves at a table and got okay service from the waitress. There were only two pool tables and they were occupied. Any other games they had were turned off.
At 11:30pm we were told it was last call and they were closing. (Which we thought was a super early last call since they closed at 1am). We politley paid our tab and left .. only to see we were the only ones leaving. They locked the doors behind us with a bar full of people. So needless to say we will find another crappy themed bar to go to.response / report this review -

I walked in and waited about 20 min. I observed the waitress giving everyone who came in a menu. I had to chase her down and ask for a menu. After about 25 min. I grew tired of her passing me by and stopped her to order. She told me to hold on and she kept on walking. I observed her take some bottles off of a table and make an entire round of the room. After about 15 more minutes, she finally asked me what i would like. I'm not saying the color of my skin had anything to do with it, but i observed anyone who wasn't my complexion had far better service. Its really cold too

Went to Pete Mitchell's to eat my lunch on my break and have a few drinks. The bar was nearly empty. The owner walked over and chased me out of the place for bringing an egg sandwich in instead of buying food from the bar, where there was no one eating and just a couple old guys drinking. The bartender was embarrassed and apologized about five times. He also insisted I pay for my $2 coke before I leave which I already had. Needless to say I was less than impressed. The food sucks from what I understand and the bartenders that work for this guy only do so when there are no other options available. I couldn't recommend this place to anyone and there are plenty of better options right in the neightborhood.
