Certainly a plentiful meal. Large portion sizes of pasta with a variety of options. Busy night so service was so so. Pleasant server but limited.

Nice atmosphere! And great fried calamari. The rest of the food however was horrible the mashed potatoes were a mix of real and instant. The steak was way to fatty and bland. Mushrooms were not fresh before cooking the sauce on them was good. My wife ordered stuff shells they were horrible. They were salty and could tell they are frozen with cheap store bought noodles. Their sauce is super salty.

Good service. Got the chicken carbonaro and it was vey good. Definitely will come back. P.S. Their salad was blah! Needed some flavor or sprucing up

Wish I could make it 0 stars, in all honesty. I never post bad reviews because I know sometimes restaraunts have bad days, but this was genuinely the worst dining experience. Was here for a 21st birthday, and we were told payments could be split easily only to find out that everything was put on one check, and had to fix overcharges multiple times! Once we were asked how the heck we were supposed to split our check the response was "the menus there, just look at the prices and let us know what each person owes" OH BUT WAIT THERES MORE, we then had a 3rd lady come up to us and say "oh by the way, only 4 credit cards are allowed sofigure it out." Spent an hour trying to transfer money to friends with the same bank, was absolutely exhausted by the end of it. And after we walked out, got called "losers" by what seemed to be a friend of the bartender. Do not come here, seriously.

Had a luncheon here. They did an amazing job taking care of the large group. Dinner here is usually very good, too. Well worth considering if you are looking for delicious Italian food.
Google doesn't like conservatives, or even centrists. Only liberals - they fire anyone else. Sell your stock and seek reviews elsewhere. There is a nice Bing app to replace the google one on your Android phone.response / report this review -

My family typically goes to the other Gattos location, but were closer to the Tinley Park location on this particular event. We were greatly disappointed. The staff was bickering among themselves (bus staff and wait staff). Wait staff asked the bus staff to clean up a water spill and the bus staff under his breath made a comment, walked towards the table and when the waitress left, he left too and went back to the "bread" station where is co-workers were. they all laughed and talked about it. The food was also a great disappointment. The mozzarella sticks appeared to be from a box and not made on site. The shrimp in my wife's dish was simply the shrimp used for a shrimp cocktail (no seasoning and not even warmed). None of our pasta dishes were good. The quality of what we had been used to from Gattos has certainly gone down.

I got a huge Italian beef here. good value for the amount of meat, but it was very plain with zero garnish or juice. service was friendly

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the area. Everything on the menu is good, however, the fried calamari is excellent. They have a nice variety of entrees ranging from pasta dishes to seafood. Nice atmosphere and pleasant service and the prices are reasonable.

Very pleasant service. Fresh generous salad. Porcini Ravioli and the Chicken Marsala were fresh, well seasoned, tender and well cooked. However, the salad, the pasta and the chicken were all buried in way too much sauce. Waste of $$. Ask for less sauce or on the side. Marsala was not a true Marsala reduction sauce but a soupy broth. Flavors were all excellent and service was outstanding. Great value and experience for the price. we will definitely go back.
