  Saw Nelli today for my first full leg and Brazilian wax. Nelli was very quick and efficient. Her demeanor was warm and reassuring. I highly recommend visiting her for waxing and so much more!

  I had a stylist mess up my (what I asked for: ice/ ash blonde), to a horrible orangey brassy blonde.
  Someone recommended Kim at personal image, so I went to her for a fix, wanting to get the orange out, and get back to my natural blonde.
  Kim was so attentive and made sure to discuss with me the issue and the result I wanted. She then went on to fix me back to a beautiful blonde.
  She COMPLETELY got the brass out. My hair looked completely neutral, soft, baby blonde- I am SO happy to be back to my favorite shade of blonde!! I highly recommend kim, for blondes especially, she's fantastic.

  ***Important***
  I just want to shout out a warning to all getting their hair done in Lansing area. If you value your hair STAY AWAY from Personal Image. I had an appointment I scheduled a week ago for the day before I was leaving town. On my way to the salon the hair dresser called and canceled my appointment. I never received a call back to reschedule. If you want a reliable salon with professional staff that values your time and hair DO NOT go to personal image. I would never recommend to anyone. Unless I was Cinderella and my evil sisters needed a salon before the ball, and I would only recommend it then cause well you can imagine why! Value your self you deserve better! Treat yourself to the relaxing spa day you deserve! DON'T waist you time dealing with the STRESS of personal image. Check out other salons in the area. I did and it was way worth it!

  Way overpriced. I got a root color touch-up, a cut, and a Pedi. With tip, I dropped $200. The stylist didn't even bother scrubbing the color off my hairline. Twice as much as I'd normally spend and the service wasn't great.

  I get my hair cut and colored with Emily almost every time. She has saved my hair from some messy experiences with other stylists and I've learned my lesson not to go to anyone else! She's awesome and is so enthusiastic about her job and it really shows how much she loves and cares for it. She stays updated with current trends and takes classes quite often too! She is a pro!

  Nice salon. Very comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend stylist HEIDI HAGEN. She is genius with cut, color and hi-lights. She's been my stylist for over 15 year's. She loves her work and it shows.

  I recently moved to the area and didn't know a good stylist, but was in desperate need of one. I looked at who had the best reviews and went in to Personal Image Salon & Day Spa! I called to make an appointment and the receptionist was so nice. They got me in the same week and I was paired with Sara Prang. SHE IS AMAZING. She took the time to discuss exactly what I wanted done, gave her professional opinion and made magic happen on my hair. I walked out with a new sense of confidence. She is definitely an artist! The salon is also very relaxing and well-kept. As long as I live here I will go to this salon!
