This is a fabulous campground. Great for all ages, nice beach, clean facilities, and kind, helpful staff. The sites are spacious and well laid out. We would definitely come back.

It's beautiful here.. Little loud on the weekends, the jet skis are aggressive with the boats they come too close but it's a beautiful place.

A nice County-run campground on a clean, warm lake with a beautiful sandy beach. A great place to bring a group. If camping, there is a wide variety of spots from sunny to deep shade, with and without hookups.

Large sites.. waterfront access..boat launch. Wonderful people in charge. Coming here at least once a summer for 15 years.

Very peaceful, staff is very helpful with what ever you need & friendly, grounds are kept super clean. Highly recomendable place for either short term or long term camping. Stocked convience store right across the street, restaurant & bar right down the street. Yet camp grounds are woodsy and peaceful.

Perfect family destination. Beach, fishing pier, fish cleaning shack, playground, friendly campers and convenience store (with laundry) and restaurants within walking distance. This is a hidden gem!

Very clean and quiet, beautiful lakeside lots for campers or tents. Right in historic Big Bay Michigan. And local food and groceries super close bye.

Awesome people! We were in a bind 7 hours from home and without a campsite. We had intended to stay at one that was first come first served and they were full when we arrived. We called everywhere and could not find a place. When we called Perkins park we dealt with a very nice and accommodating lady who took pity on us and offered us a site that they don't normally use for camping but it had a picnic table and grill there. Turns out to be the pest site ever! Right on the lake and with no one around us at all! The bathrooms were always clean and the staff very nice. I wish I got the name of the lady who helped us out all I know is she has worked there for 15 years she was a complete sweetheart and check in on us after we got set up to see how we were doing. Highly recommend this campground to anyone we will be coming back!

Cute little campground in the U.P., 30 minute north of Marquette. The rates are extremely reasonable ($16 bucks for a rustic site), parking is $2.00 a day, $18 for the entire summer. And the shower's are $.25 cents for 4 minutes and were clean. For the price and what you get compared to other campgrounds I've been to, I'd say it's pretty awesome. Beautiful lakefront sites, and it's a smaller campground, so quit peaceful but still have many amenities.
