Just went canoeing for a few hours. Everything was great. Staff was friendly and attentive. Canoes and paddles were in good shape. Gave us good directions to get down the river.

It is a beautiful place! We cannot wait to go back! The staff and management are as helpful and patient as possible. It was my first trip down a river in a kayak. My husband and I stopped in, by chance, on our way home from Mackinaw on our anniversary weekend We fell in love and decided to stay. We were able to get their last cabin and arrange for a 2 1/2 hour kayak trip all within an hour. We HIGHLY recommend going.

Nice rental place. Brought our own kayaks, pretty cheap and easy. Goto the other places in town. if you want to kick back with beers on the river.

What a great day with family and friends. The family we invites up to spend the day on the river could not stop talking about the service you provide and the river. They drove up from Lansing. They will be back with friends. We are from Va and we will see you next year for a longer trip or camping stop on the river. Thanks again and you gained another family or two.

Great service. Recently canoed 7 days with 26 people from Penrod's in Grayling to Oskoda. Penrod's went above and beyond shuttling our drivers the 3 hour round trip. It was a great trip. We'll be back again next year.

I've been here with groups several years in a row, and I've always had a great experience. The staff is friendly and good at what they do. The tables outside are great for picnics after a nice trip down the river.
