This is a company with incredible customer service, communication and professionalism. They were on top of all the details on the office end and the installers were very knowledgeable, neat, organized and explained everything in detail. Would use them any time anywhere.

We marked our piping and the worker still drilled through our brand new return line for our pool. Penn Fencing never offered a long term resolution to potential surrounding cement issues, Goodling pool company had to repair the piping issue Penn Fencing created. They destroyed our property, recklessly drove through my yard and our neighbors yard and even ran over our land marking post. Fence was full of mud once complete, shards of metal left around pool and they never came back to clean the mud piles left from the 1000's of gallons of pool water left behind from them drilling through the return line. Offered no discount and too boot could not even get the gate to latch (pic).

This is our first time using Penn Fencing, and it will be our last.
The ordering process was simple enough, and we settled for a white vinyl fence (to replace our wooden one). After filling out the necessary paperwork for financing and getting approved, we waited for several weeks to be contacted by Penn Fencing to say that they could get started (they said it was take a few weeks at least to get the materials together, which was perfectly fine).
After about a month, we finally got a call from a manager saying they've been trying to get in touch with us to start on the fence ASAP, as they had crews ready to go (I'm not sure what "trying to get in touch" meant, because they only called us once). We couldn't have them start immediately, so we scheduled it for the week of Sept. 12th. (about 2-3 weeks later).
The crew on-site was very professional and did a good job removing our old fence, but then some problems arose: first, they didn't actually have all the materials needed to make our fence. I thought this was incredibly odd given that Penn Fencing wanted to start weeks before and claimed to have everything ready to go. The issue with this was we needed the fence done that same week (they said it would take 4-5 days) because we have dogs and our neighbors were out of town that one week (we didn't want to disturb them too much with the construction). We also had a newborn baby at home, and I was leaving the following week for work.
So, instead of 4-5 days, they took 8-9 days (including the weekend). When they finished, they also left materials all over our yard (including our own hoses), which I had to clean up.
The delay in finishing was annoying, but here's the BIG issue: the fence in many places has up to 10" of space between the ground and the bottom of the fence. During construction, they told me there would be about 2" but they could get it closer if needed. I said 2" would be fine, but getting it closer would be great if they could.but 10 INCHES?? So far my dogs, which are mid-sized (35-50 lbs) have nearly been able to crawl under the fence without even digging.
We called Penn Fencing about it, and they basically told us that we could use some materials to block it off in those locations (yes, they told us WE could do that on our own). So, I actually had to get small fencing materials myself and have used it on about 10-15 ft of the fence so far. Aside from the aesthetic issues with that, another problem is that the gates themselves have 10" of space, and if I block that off or you can't open them.
So to recap: We spend nearly $20,000 on a new fence, and they leave large enough gaps in it that it negates the entire reason we got the fence in the first place. Their customer service suggestion was that WE fix it ourselves. The fence overall looks great (hence the 2 stars instead of 1), but I didn't anticipate spending that much money and then having to fix it myself.response / report this review -

This is the 2nd time I used Penn Fencing and would not use anyone else. They were timely, efficient, and excellent in their installation and customer care. And the product is 2nd to none. I know I will never need another fence due to their quality but if I do, I will call only Penn Fencing.

We had a 6' Black Chain Link Fence installed by Penn Fencing in April 2016. They did an awesome job and we are very happy with the finished product. It looks great and our black Lab loves it even more then we do! We definitely would recommend Penn Fencing!

From beginning to end, our experience with Penn Fencing showed us we were dealing with professionals who knew their products well and could negotiate your house's layout and step architecture to find the right fit. We had contoured vinyl railing installed on both our front steps and side steps. The product is extremely sturdy and looks fantastic. The installation was impressively and expediently completed. We'd recommend Penn Fencing to anybody. Great company!

Penn Fencing was super great to deal with from beginning to end of our project. I worked with the Indiana Office, and they were awesome! We went through several versions of fencing plans before we decided on one. The price was great. They were very quick with setting up a time to install. The installers were here on time, even a little early, were super nice, worked quickly, and got the job done sooner than I expected. They had me look over their work before they left to make sure I was happy, and they left my yard in perfect condition. The fence looks and works great. Our dog and I couldn't be happier!
