Pellerin was nothing short of supportive, competent, and amazing throughout the entire process of getting my mother's body from NC to LA and conducting her funeral and burial! Taylor and Amelia made the process easy and smooth. They were responsive to every phone call and text message. They helped to ease my anxieties throughout this process. Thank you Pellerin for helping me bring a beautiful close to my mom's time on earth. You all are professional, kind, empathic, and organized. Your space is also beautiful and well kept.

You know, When an incident such as this happens to a family, All anyone needs is a helping hand and support from a funeral home. Unfortunately, My family and I have lost three people in a matter of four years. My god-son and his uncle's funeral seemed to be going well from a glance. However, We ran into a lot of issues during the funeral. First, I want to let this be known, The employees were absolutely wonderful to myself and my family. My sister and parents had planned to play specific songs during the ceremony that were later on denied during the ceremony it's self. The last thing a family needs is someone arguing with them on what songs can and can not be played during that emotional time. David's words verbatim to my sister were, " The other people attending the funeral might not want to hear those songs and that they were secular". The preacher we had speak at the service is a friend of the family in which helped us talk the director in to letting us play two of three songs(Which were by the way were appropriate songs). The funeral director was terribly rude and would not directly answer questions for my family. My parents paid for two different services, the cremation and their ashes. Legal paperwork was signed stating that my god-son's ashes were to go to my parents(his immediate family). To later find out that sed paperwork was voided and his remains were given to someone else. Zero communication was had, before and after remains were relinquished to that family. I don't suggest working with David at Pellerin in Breaux Bridge. My family has worked with prior funeral home director's and none of them have treated us so badly as he did. Please don't take your loved us to Pellerin. Take them to someone who truly cares about your family and your loved ones.

First of all the lady’s at the front desk were very nice. It’s been a long time since the passing of my loved one, but the issues I had with legal documents and this funeral home specifically David the funeral director has weighed on me so much I couldn’t let it go without getting this off my chest. David with his condescending attitude “mishandled” legal documents which I will define as he just wouldn’t provide them made my ability to receive life insurance payout a literal nightmare. I know this is the only funeral home in Breaux Bridge but if I knew something like this would happen I would have traveled a little farther to receive more transparency of the handling of legal documents. David just doesn’t have the capacity to be a funeral director. I really thought it was just me until I read some of these reviews.

We recently had a funeral and we're very unhappy with the funeral director, the service, the whole thing. The funeral director, David, was condescending and quite rude. We were told that we couldn't have the music selection that we wanted, even though all the songs were appropriate and mostly country and gospel. The director, David, mishandled paperwork and allowed 1/2 of the ashes from my nephew go to someone that had already signed paperwork releasing any claim to the ashes. Some of the other people working there were nice but the director, David, ruined our funeral with the way our loved ones remains were treated.

The funeral director, George King, was a wonderful, caring person helping our family with the details of mom's funeral. He sat down with the six of us and walked through the plans for as long as it took. Luckily, George had helped us prepare months earlier, which made it more bearable. We had planned for mom to be interred in another cityand George was able to get us in touch with the right people. All of the plans were made and the services went off as planned. I couldn't be happier with Pellerin's service to our family.
