We built our pool three years ago and waited to write a review once we had experience dealing with warranties. If this review were strictly based on the looks and enjoyment of our pool, it would be 4, maybe 5 stars. But this review is about the total experience. The pool build, mostly pre-pandemic, went smoothly and was completed on time. The office manager, Kelli, who no longer works there, was a nightmare to deal with. She forgot to collect payments, rarely answered our requests in a timely fashion and was generally argumentative any time we had concerns. We have had exactly ZERO interaction with Rene since our build was completed. He's not interested in long-term customer satisfaction. While we were in the first year, we discovered a leak from the spa, into the pool. They sent their team out and "repaired" the leak, but it has since began leaking again. We reported this challenge, along with leaks around the pool equipment, and we were simply told the warranty does not cover any of what we reported. When we asked if they would send someone out to make sure none of it was covered, they stopped responding. Not only did they decide we were not covered through email, they also will not stand by their original warranty repair work. Rene is a smooth talker, and he has plenty of subcontractors who know how to build a solid pool but there's very little substance beyond that. Further, we have referred clients to him and learned he either didn't respond at all or no-showed appointments he had scheduled. I'm sure there will be an apology response to this review, but apologies don't correct an easily avoidable, poor customer experience.

El Dorado was referred to us by our new home builder. Our initial meeting went extremely well and we were impressed with Rene’s vision. Unfortunately the following several months was a communication challenge. Long delays between communications is the basis for such a low rating. It is a big disappointment that this occurred as we had much higher expectations

Exceptional experience from beginning to the end. Kelli, the office manager, was professionally responsive from our initial inquiry, proactive throughout all stages, patient in the materials selection and all questions/concerns including multiple vendor coordination. Rene, as the owner, personally navigated us through the entire process from the initial design to completion reality. Rene came by and ensured critical build stages and milestones were met. His leadership with the various construction teams was superb in staying focused on the design, the equipment functionality and the aesthetics. For the pool fine tuning, final touches and minor issue resolutions, Rockey’s competent problem solving skills and customer centric interactions were outstanding. Highly recommend El Dorado Pools because of Rene, Kelli and Rockey. What a trustworthy and amazing team.

Recently completed our backyard oasis with El Doraldo Pools and love how things turned out. Rene and his team are great and you couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work with. There are always hiccups during any construction project and these folks could not have been any easier to work with through it all. They are always professional, easy to talk to, and willing to listen to anything you bring up. I’ve dealt with my share of contractors in the past and would work with El Dorado again in a heartbeat. As Rene says, “you want it they’ll build it”. Please give this company a call before you choose who you’ll use for your pool.

El Dorado pools designed us our dream pool without a hitch! They were very easy to work with and we now have a gorgeous pool to dip into in the Summer!
