Good food, good service in a nicely decorated slightly elegant dining room.
Been coming here for many years, since they were located on Carmichael. The food is fantastic, fresh and authentic. Portions are good. The prices are a bit high, and the food doesn't come out fast, but hey this is no Panda Express. The freshness and quality make up for it big time.
Portion size is great! It is a little on the pricey side but quality is good. Be prepared to wait for your food. I'd recommend this place if you have time on your hands and don't need to go back to work right away.
We've never had a bad moment or dish here. I had the chicken pho in clear broth which was so yummy. My husband always gets the spicy pork chop which he craves. This restaurant is owned by a local, support local!
The dishes have such delicate flavors and then there are other dishes that give you the spice and zing you are craving. Service is always top notch. It is a must if you haven't eaten there yet.
Peacock is consistently the best vietnamese restaurant in town! Its food preparation is always handled well. Food is excellent tasting. Place, plates, glasses and utensils are always clean. I just love this place!
Just returned from picking up order. Host/server told me 20 minutes arrived in 20 minutes. Host/server said order wasn't ready, they had many orders they were preparing. Not one person walked in for a "take out" order while I was there. I didn't see him bring out any food for patrons dining. Paid sat down and waited. About 20 minutes later, I asked the "bus girl" (the only other employee that I could see) to check on my order because host/server was running his mouth with some customers for the past tenstill talking. So when she gets his attention he runs in the back comes back with my order and complains that "nobody rang the bell so I didn't know it was ready." I get home and there is no rice in my order. He didn't bother to check it either. So angry that I paid $42 for my time and frustration. I called and host/server said he was sorry and he couldn't bring me rice because he was the only server. He said he would give me a free entree next time I come in. I don't know how long the food was sitting but when I got home it was not hotnone of it. It was warm.
It was a great experience. The food is hot. There more then enough on the the plate.
This was my first visit to their new location. My Mom and I both liked our entree selection and our spring roll appetizer.
Nice atmosphere, good food, good service, little pricey.
It's very friendly and family-owned. Great service great food. I've been a long-time customer and really enjoy it.
The food, and service was not on par with the prices. I did like the Summer Rolls, but everything else could be improved. For one, the main dish was warm, not hot. The server was nice, and did try to multitask the best he could. It seems like they just need more people on shift. Even if there was great service, I believe the prices are a bit high. I know they're trying to run a business, but it's rough on my wallet
Awesome! Mama's crew is committed to serving the highest quality, fresh and delicious, dining experience - without fail every visit!
Fine linen table tablecloths and settings sets them easily on a pedastal 'above' the overblown chain restaurants - you know them all - the ones with the 'paper' napkins and 'bare' tables .
Bring your date, friends, office parties or meetings here to show them how highly you think of them and how special they are to you!
Sierra Vista is so very lucky we have the Peacock!
