Has great potential. Amenities include duck pond, playground, picnic tables, and it's right up against the Provo river. When we visited, we had a hard time finding a place to get away from insects, or a place where the grass wasn't soggy, and many of the tables were covered in crumbs and spills and spider webs. Also, I don't know if it was just overcast or something, but the park has a lot of trees and vegetation (which is awesome!) but it created a lot of dark areas around the perimeter, so we kind of felt like we were surrounded by shadows. If it were lighter and better maintained, this would probably be one of my favorite parks!

Nice secluded feeling park, next to the Provo River. Only 4 stars because the amenities are aging. In spite of this its still family friendly.

This is a fun place to take kids, family or friends! There are tons of cute ducks that are fun to feed! Great for a nice quiet stroll or even a good run!

Would have given 5 stars we're it not for the rampant water foul infestation. The seclusion of the area coupled with the lack of lighting at night makes me feel uneasy about walking there later in the day. Needless to say of I see a herd of them walking on the same side of the street as me, I will cross the street to avoid any negative exchanges. It's not that I'm against the water foul community-in fact I have several friends who are ducks-it's just that it's better not to draw attention to myself and that geese are literally the most violent frigging creatures on Earth.

Big area for kids to play around. One downside is when there are leaves on the trees it seems a lot bigger and you think your little ones can get far away from you.

This is a cute park with a fantastic layout. We live the duck pond, the play area is adequate and the fire pits and picnic tables are set in the trees for a secluded feeling. There are bathrooms and a drinking fountain as well. The Provo River and the river trail run along the entrance to the park which makes the park feel alive and natural. Con, sometimes the grass gets soggy. Also, watch out for the duck poop before sitting down.

While it can sometimes get a bit busy and be filled with large families with noisy and rambunctious kids who try and chase the ducks, the park is overall a nice little break from city life. The river is quite calming to walk next to and it's rather fun to feed the ducks in the pond.
People should just remember not to feed the ducks bread, it's not good for them. A baggie of duck feed or rolled oats from the grocery store are much better options and still cheap to afford.
I've even had a few occasions where a hummingbird would come and sit on my shoulder before zooming off again.
It's a great place to take your dog for some fetching and rolling in the grass. Just remember to clean up after them!

Neat park. Across the river is a great picnic area (a bunch of individual tables, and one large pavilion), a playground and a nice field, completely enclosed in trees. Very cool. There is also a nice walking path, with more playground and picnic areas. In an older part of town directly adjacent to houses and busier roads.
