    Horrible Experience. Went in for a wash and style and the student knew nothing about my hair grade. My hair is short and cut into a simple style. She did not know how to wrap it to put me under the dryer. She tried to put the flat iron to my hair while it was still wet. I feared she was going to burn me so i asked for the team lead to come over. The red head heavy set lady has a bad attitude. I told her my concerns and she told me that they are students, which i understand, but its not okay for anyone to burn me. She then told me my hair was still wet, which i had already told the student beforehand. She proceeds to wrap my hair to sit me back under the dryer tying the strips like a bandana. At this point i have had it and told her i did not want to proceed. I definitely will not be returning. Call this a professional school. NOT.

    I have been here several times. The staff is always polite and very welcoming. However, it will take them FOREVER to do pretty much anything to your hair. Also, there’s no actual guarantee that they even know what they’re doing. Remember, they’re students and learning.
    They will have someone fix it when they mess up, so that’s good. But seriously, they’ve messed it up and had to fix it pretty much every time I’ve went. It’s 50/50. Sometimes they do WONDERS and other times they destroy your hair.
    The price reflects that 50/50 risk.
    Oh and they do pedicures too- don’t do it.

    I was told to leave a 5 star review for 50% off, so I did. I came back a month later for a follow up. Girl did my hair wrong. Her teacher said it looked great. I went home and cried.

    ::update::
    You wouldn’t find a record of me because “skotii” isn’t my name ??? Like are you serious right now? Are you surely sure you wanna pull that card??? ?? ?

    Came from out of town, closest place with good reviews so I gave it a shot. Walked in for a pedicure and they took me..only had to wait about 15 minutes. My student technician was extremely polite and did a good thorough job. It took slightly longer than a normal spa, but for $9 it can't be beat. Only a few color choices, but I liked them. Surprisingly they do lotion massages on your calves. Nice to be able to help the students with real life clients.

    The place looks nice and so do the staff. but I'd like for the people to be truthful. My husband called and made an appointment for me for our date night. When he called the secretary was told that I have naturally curly hair. I'm multiracial, not loose curls. She told him that I would be placed with someone that was used to my hair type. I get there and was happily greeted and assigned to a student. I asked her specifically if she was used to my type of hair. She replied that she's used to it and comfortable doing my type of hair. We started with a deep conditioning and when it came time to detangle. she had trouble. It took a while. For the blow drying part she tried to brush my hair starting from the roots and during the duration of this time I had to take the brush from her and SHOW her how to brush my hair and section it off ..a couple of times. I've never had to do that at any other place that I've ever been to. Even with suggestions and demonstrations of how to blow dry my hair she still didn't section it probably and brushed it from the middle length of my hair. I had tangles at the end of my hair and she tried to snatch the brush through my ends. When I told her not to do that she would blow dry from my roots and stop at my ends😳. During this WHOLE time not one teacher stepped in to check on us but had no problem going to other stations with clients with straight hair. Finally another student came over and offered to help and show her how to do it. But after it seemed like she gave up and the other girl stepped up and finished blow drying my hair. After the first girl came back I asked the second girl to flat iron my hair. I haven't had heat on my hair for almost a year and I wasn't going to let her cause heat damage when I didn't know if she knows how to flat iron hair like mine. Asia finished my hair and it was beautiful. She said that it would have came out better if the first girl used products meant for my hair. I spoke to the secretary and told her that she put me with someone that had no clue on how to manage my hair but all I got was that everybody is a student. .. yes everyone is a student but if they are not strong in a certain area, they need someone there to help them get accustomed to it. This is discounted from what it could cost but I'm still paying for it. The secretary knew that she wasn't experienced with curly hair like mine. My husband and I ended up not being able to see our movie for our date. An appointment that is supposed to last for 2 hours ended up being 4 hours. Just tell the truth. The students are told to tell their clients that they can do whatever the client requests, even if they aren't which is 🤥 lying. Ask for Asia, she's only there for 3 more months.

    I usually get my hair cut my Elisabed and she is absolutely amazing!!!! I haven't gone to anyone else since she first did my hair. I will continue to go back to her!! However, I was going to be very busy this week, so I had to go in on Saturday. I received service from a girl named Marie. She dyed my hair and cut it. She got the exact color I wanted!!! It was my first time getting my hair dyed and she put me at ease. I can't thank her enough for how beautiful it is!!

    I know this is a school, and they are students, and now I know I should have went somewhere else It is great if you really don't care how your hair turns out in the end. They did offer for me to go back, but then that would mean another student would be chopping on my hair trying to fix the first cut. I wanted an angled bob and ended up with a little girls straight across hair cut. There aren't any layers, though it was attempted. After sitting in the chair for what was supposed to be about 2 hours for color and cut (it ended up being 4 1/2 hours)I am scared to go back and try to have it fixed. I did see some people walk out with nice dye jobs and cuts, but I honestly am fearful to go have my hair done here again. I guess it is luck of the draw if you go here.

    Cheap haircut was exactly what is was. Nothing great. My hair was cut too short, the girl cutting my hair parted my hair flat to my head and not the way I part it; my hair is now uneven. They need more direct supervision while working on clients.

    Horrible 4 hours to get a trim and my hair was greasy as hell when I left. As my mom puts it my hair looks like a weed eater had a field day. It looks like hay. I understand this is a teaching school but an hour and a half to wash my hair? That's a joke. I went to the Washington DC school and they were amazing out there. I think the gentleman that did my hair needs to go back to the classroom to build up his confidence because when the lead teacher is going and saying he has no confidence there is a problem! He was clearly not ready especially when he did even one cut he was looking for a teacher to help him fix it. I am sorry but I will not be returning to this school in Fayetteville North Carolina again. Oh I can't forget I asked for my hair to be straightened and it looks like hay, also wavy, not straight. I cried all the way home!

    So I had an appointment with Brittany, and I had already seen so many reviews on her and other people, but when they say she's really good, she really is. I got a perm and I thought for a moment I wasn't going to get it, but she was able to work with me and meet my needs. She is the best, I really love her. Her personality is so genuine and she's really understanding. You need to come here and meet her. I will be back!
