The restaurant was clean and quiet. Service was great staff very friendly and courteous. Food was well prepared and good. Will definitely return to Parky's and would recommend this restaurant to others.
Good BBQ at a reasonable price. Not going to set the world on fire, but for central Indiana, you could do worse. I was leery of the way they shred the brisket like pulled pork, but it was moist, flavorful and a good mix of fat and lean. The sides are excellent. The coleslaw and beans being standouts. Will definitely go back.
By far one of the best BBQ restaurants I've been to in a while. I had the Ribs and Wings and i ate every bit I could.
I didn't have to wait to be seated, my waitress Anise was very courteous and dilligent, and to top it all off I didn't have to wait forever to get my food.
All in all I would say I was very satisfied with the service, food, and atmosphere of this restaurant. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves BBQ, and maybe looking for something to treat yourself with.
Stopped in for a quick dinner and to catch up with a coworker. The seating was ample and the noise level was low. It was actually a good environment for casual conversation. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries. The meat was tender, the bun perfectly toasted, and the fries were cooked to just the right crisp. I was a little disappointed with the spicy sauce. It seemed to get lost on the sandwich such that you wouldn't even know that you put any sauce on it. The only suggestion I might have would be to trim the pork a little better before shredding it. Quite a bit of my sandwich consisted of chunks of unrendered fat. Overall a good meal and the service was fantastic. I will definitely be back if I'm in Lebanon and am in the mood for BBQ.
Service was excellent! Everyone was very friendly! Probably the best Pork Tenderloin I have ever eaten in my entire life! The appetizer (stuffed mushrooms) and sides (BBQ beans and loaded mashed potatoes) were delish! The brisket and mac & cheese were okay. Definitely full when we left! Reasonable prices. You need to eat here!
Good BBQ with healthy portions. I'd list the staff above average. They we very friendly and took good care of us. I was amazed with the mushroom basket. It was loaded unlike most places were each person gets just a couple of them. Clean and comfortable place great for dinning.
They were out of clam chowder, lemon, buttered browns, and their specialty of the night which was Prime Rib by 7 pm. We had 4 different plates served cold. The waiter ask if we wanted the chili reheated. No, I don't want it microwaved. Manager never came out to check on us. We had to ask the manager to come out. When manager came out, she had no solution for our problems.
This was our first time here, and we'll definitely be back. We'll also recommend this place to our friends. We went with steak and ribs with a lot of sides plus fried pickles for an appetizer. Everything we had was amazing. The food is great, the service is friendly and prices aren't too bad.
Both me and my girlfriend had their pulled pork sandwich, which is listed front and center on their menu. Unfortunately it didn't taste like anything beyond what you can make yourself at home. No smokey flavor or anything beyond overly sweet sauces. The sauce that was considered the spicy sauce was actually sweeter than the sweet sauce. The waitress did at least bring out a really nice chipotle sauce to the table that had a bit more spice to it, and should probably just be their default BBQ sauce at the table. Maybe other dishes are better, but when you can't even do the basics right then it doesn't give me much confidence in the rest of the menu.
I've had better. I've had worse. This is a solid meal for a fair price. The place is clean. The service is quick and attentive. The ribs fall of the bone and overall are really good. The brisket was also good, but if you are a true brisket fan, this is something you should absolutely pass on as it is chopped, and lacks that tantalizing, unctuous fattiness that you've come to love in a good brisket. They also don't have collard greens which is pretty crucial in my mind for a true barbecue joint.
This is a great place for a good meal, but not the place if you are looking for something special.
My husband wanted me to give a good review, he really likes it. I try to be very fair in my reviews. My son and I thought it was ok. His burger was burnt on one side pretty badly. I got pulled meats that were fairly good but almost tasted like it had been reheated more than once. One other time I've been here I had ribs and had to chew the meat off the bone. Perhaps it's a different way to make ribs but I've never had ribs that the meat didn't fall off the bone. I just think this place could be SO much better!!
