Snow is nice, lots of runs and options with usually fast lifts. The downside is the amount of people. Popular runs are heavily trafficked with tons of beginners or snowboarders randomly sitting in the middle of a run. Lots of beginners make it tough to maneuver, especially when certain runs are closed so everyone is concentrated in one area.

Every resort in Utah has something special in addition to lots of super light and fluffy Utah snow. Park City is the largest resort in North America and has lots of diversity. Beginner runs, step and deep, tree skiing, ski in and out vacation homes, on mountain dining, and challenging double black ridges - there is something for everyone and more of it than you could experience in a week long trip. If you like diversity, this is the place for you and your crew.

Good snow usually but a little crowded. By my estimation there's less intermediate and advanced terrain open than their competition, but they have some long green trails.
Vail recently purchased the resort.

To say that I am ashamed to have to write this review is an understatement. Park City is my home mountain. I grew up skiing at this resort. Park City Mountain Resort used to be a supportive environment for skiers of all levels to enjoy. Over the past few years, it has become increasingly discriminatory towards more experienced skiers. I understand that Vail’s business strategy caters solely to the tourism industry in our town, but I do not think this validates the right for staff to treat developed skiers like delinquents. I am growing tired of my time on the mountain being constantly interrupted by inexperienced staff who profile paying customers in order to “insure the safety” of their precious tourists. It saddens me to feel unwelcome at a resort that I have spent so much of my time and money. I encourage you to consider the entirety of your audience as opposed to a mere portion. Thank you.

I am a little biased, but this is absolutely the best ski area around. Huge mountain and tons of runs for people of all skill levels. Lot's of great intermediate slopes for the kids. Great family place.

Stunning! Endless!
This place is enormous, and they are continually growing! Great to have access across many different resorts. Last season they had 64 lifts operational!
Also, had a house 3 minutes from the slopes so was very convenient.response / report this review -

I went here to go down the alpine coaster in the fall. Very fun! Make sure you don't have someone slow in front of you, making you have to break real fast. 😃

Super fun adventure park - great for summer fun with the fam. Took two small kids (one 7 year old boy and one 3 year old girl) and they LOVED the lift and the alpine slide. Only complaint is how incredibly overpriced it is - it's twice as much as Lagoon, with far fewer rides / activities. We did go after 5 to snag the discount (buy one, get one free), so for all three of us, it ended up being $130, and we got in about 10 rides on the slide, so I guess it worked out alright. Will definitely go again, which is probably why they won't bring the prices down!

My favorite place to snowboard! You could easily spend all day here and not take the same chairlift twice. Usually there are no lines for any of the chairs and once you know where you're going you'll know to avoid the few busy chairs there are.

Park City Mountain Resort is hands down the BEST COMPANY in Park City. My friend and I spent the weekend at Silverado Lodge, one of Park City Mountain's hotels. The hotel room was cozy, spacious and just beautiful! It had the comfiest bed I have ever slept on. The pool and hot tub were both so relaxing and we even received a late checkout with no additional cost! We also took the lift Payday to the town lift! It was absolutely beautiful! We saw a deer and had wonderful views of the Park City Valley! I will only stay at one of Park City Mountain's lodges when I am in Park City. Great Company and great employees all around!

Great resort with plenty of variety and if you are fortunate enough to get good snowfall - as we were this year - the powder is fantastic. Some great tree zones for varying degrees of expertise. And with the new link to the Canyons, the scope is even greater.
Unfortunately, the mountain lodges are now even busier with shoulder to shoulder action and missions to capture seats requires diligence and persistence. The prices have gone up markedly which is a shame. 3 years ago, we were able to take our pick of outdoor seating at the top of the mountain and enjoy a gorgeous and humungous chili bread-bowl for $7.50 which was just amazing.response / report this review -

Took lessons at the Park City Mountain for the first time. The instructor, Dottie - was incredible. The class lasted ~5 hrs, and I went from level zero to skiing comfortably on safe slopes. The views are great, the snow was perfect. Highly recommend the place for beginners' lessons!

Park city has become my favorite place to ski. So many runs you can't do them all in one trip here. All levels of skiers are accommodated here. It is an amazing mountain to learn on. The food is very good for a ski resort and there are plenty of place to eat or drink. The elevation is perfect being lower altitude mountain makes it perfect for the skier that is prone to altitude sickness. The mountain has incredible views so take a minute and look around.

Park city is huge. It takes a few days to even hit most of the terrain here since they purchased the canyons. The new gondola connecting the two is great. I find the canyons side hard to get around. The park city side is much easier. Most all lifts are high speeds. We didn't come across any lines.
