Pretty nice little coffee shop in the shopping center! I ordered a latte and it taste pretty good. The service is fast and friendly.
I just had a latte, but it was very smooth and flavorful. Watching them pour my beautiful cup was equally enjoyable. I have had them create beautiful artwork with a stick, but by just pouring milk is truly art.
I’ve been here many times, and they haven’t failed to be amazingly kind. That, on top of delicious coffee, makes Parisi one of my favorite spots in KC!
Delightful Staff. Unfortunately, I doubt I will be back since they switched from brewed chai to some nasty sugary chai mix. "Not my cup of tea."
The coffee and tea is decent. Which it should be considering the prices. I hate writing poor reviews, however, the staff really is what brings this place to two stars. They are not friendly unfortunately. They got 2/3 orders wrong in my party. The place was not busy at all.
They are also very confused as to how to give out the orders. When you order and pay, they ask for your name. But when your order is ready they quietly say the order such as "coffee with cream" and set it on the counter. Then the costumers awkwardly look at each other trying to figure out who's coffee it is for. So I'm not sure why they don't call out your name. Your coffee can sit on the counter for five minutes and they don't do anything to make sure the costumer gets it. I watched it happen over and over while I was drinking my coffee. And again, they say the order once and oh so quietly. It's a confusing situation. There's not really room for you to wait at that area because then you would be blocking the line for people to order.
It's a cute place with tasty coffee. They just need fine tune some things. and maybe try to make eye contact and smile.
Best Coffee Shop in Leawood Hands Down :) Wow, that was a great cup of coffee today. I had the Red Eye and have not seen that on the menu for coffee shops for ever I look forward to coming back and giving something else a try. Great place to have a meeting
I've been spoiled by having some amazing coffee spots around where I went to college, so while I'll still grab an average latte, it takes a lot for me to really drool over one. This is one of those places where it happens. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the way it was formed. Magnificent.
I was very impressed with the service here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had the lavender mocha which was very good!
Great place to catch your breathe and have a "pour over" Ethiopian style.
UPDATE:
More important than the pour over is the sugar-free vanilla latte. This is by far THE BEST I've ever tasted! Made with Parisi's own vanilla flavoring this coffee is perfect. I take mine with an extra shot of espresso. My favorite!
Coffee is great, but the cafe needs more interior color. Not fond of the European "sterile" look. Also, the stool/chair legs need to have plastic pads to help them slide easier on the concrete floor due to their awkward design.
Coffee = ★★★★★
Cafe decor/ergo friendly = ★★★
Very chill, great coffee & friendly staff. Food was fresh and delicious as well.
This is a good spot where you'll find a nice assortment from studying to visiting in a small space. I've done both here and it always goes well.
The pour overs are the best thing here for me but the teas are also excellent.
Update: they now have a nitro cold brew which is excellent.
Excellent coffee, loved it! I especially appreciate that you can choose the size of your coffee from 6oz, 8oz, 10oz, all the way to 12 oz. :-)
Parisi Cafe is well known in the coffee industry for having one of their baristia take on the title of US Barista Champion.
Their dedication to the craft gives their store a unique vibe that creates the new standard in 3rd wave coffee shops. Their service is great, I paid for my drink and moments later it was ready.
I would recommended this coffee bar to anyone in the area.
