Does anyone actually buy anything from this store? Everything is so unreasonably expensive and some of the things they sell are really out there and off the wall cicada exoskeletons and old reading glasses for example ONE teacup and ONE matching saucer for $40 a small tin of loose tea for $60

It’s definifely an interesting place to browse, I can say that.

Tucked away in a cozy shop, this had old world charm with new world items. Something for everyone and very browse worthy. Sights and smells to appeal to everyone.

I love this place! There are all manner of eclectic selections to explore and appreciate. Go downstairs first and work your way up. There's a lot to discover. I visit when I'm looking for inspiration and beauty. Visitors will find design and delight coming together in playful combinations that spark conversation and memories that linger long after leaving the shop.

It was a fun mix of new and antiques with a light snack and beverage bar. Seating was limited and tight.

Although Paris market has some truely beautiful and unique items with gorgeous displaystheir customer service leaves much to be desired. I found a sweet little brass drip coffee maker that did not have a price listed. Upon inquiring at the counter, the woman informed me that it had to be over $250, and "did I really want her to look it up?" I got the distinct impression she was assuming I had a problem with the price, because she then started explaining why it was so expensiveapparently being made of wood and brass has something to do with it?!! Anyway, I politely declined any further investigation, as it was obvious I had been prejudged. Only to watch her snatch the item out of my hands, mumble something about fingerprintsand proceed to clean the item in front of me, spray bottle and all! Wow!

In love. Reminds me of France, truly. A little pricey for daily shopping, but if you're in the market for something special. this is the place for distinctive gifts in beautiful packaging. The coffee was fantastic, Batista was much friendlier than the French. 😊
