Walked in, was asked if I needed help and in about 10 minutes was paying for my new bike, that needed to be built. Friendly and willing to help staff.

My wife's SPD cleat lost a screw on our ride. They gave me a replacement for free, and offered to lend me tools for the fix. Nice guys! Glad we broke down near there!

Honestly, I don't know why I punish myself with going anywhere else for service. The techs at PW's are clearly the most knowledgeable and skilled in terms of the level of performance they can squeeze out of your bike. Over the years, I have had several problems pointed out to me that were actually caused by incorrect service methods. I will continue to use PW's as my go to for advice and repairs. Their know-how with integrated systems and parts, as well as their eye for detail, put them above the rest.

The doors on the street are blocked and you go in around back. It's not easily accessible by wheelchair on the inside as there are a few tiers, but its easy enough to pull yourself up if you have the upper body. They replaced by wheelchair tires quick for a fair price.

I LIKE to bike shop, and went to all the local shops. These guys seemed very laid back and let me take multiple bikes out for spins without any pressure to buy. And not just a pedal around the parking lot, I went out on the tracks and really got a good feel for the bike. I had a couple of small changes which they did no charge and also gave me free tuneups for the year. Great shop!

I would suggest to those shopping for a nice bike check out a few internet on-line bike sites, and then compare the features and price to this shop. It's your money! When you get a bike on-line it is just a matter of putting on the pedals and tightening a few bolts and you are good to go!
I bought a city bike on-line 4 years ago that people still are commenting on, and it was $200 with helmet and free shipping!
Unless you race, you don't need to spend a fortune on a bike. And learn to keep it runningbike maintenance is not rocket science. And finally, keep it out of the rain!
