  We have been coming here every year for 20 years, meeting up with Grandparents and cousins; our kids are in college and high school and still get excited for "the Farm"!

  Our hunting group has been going to Palmquist farm for 19 years and have never had a bad experience! If the grouse are few there is always woodcock.
  Helen is always wonderful and Jim is entertaining.

  Outstanding place to stay!! My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary with our horses and rode for miles on beautiful farm trails. Great home cooked meals and very friendly owners and staff. Highly recommended!

  My wife, I and our kids have enjoyed coming to Palmquist since the mid 80s. It remains my favorite way to escape winter in the city. Quiet, beautiful woods, skiing, and great conversation with Helen and Jim and guests mealtime.

  My husband and I took our horses there for our second honeymoon. Loved it! The trails were a bit soggy from all the rain, but Jim would tell us every morning which ones to ride and he got up early to check trails for us. Helen's cooking can't be beat. The Finnish dishes were fantastic. The cabins were cozy and clean. And the winery Very nice. Next year we are going to book the sauna cabin. This is a beautiful place owned by beautiful people.

  Was there for a night as part of a bicycling tour group. Gracious hospitality. Delicious home cooked dinner and breakfast. Beautiful piece of property. Nice accommodations.

  My sons and I have been going there to hunt grouse for 8 years. Great place, Great accommodations, Dog Friendly. Meals are over the top! I think of Jim and Helen Palmquist as my up north family!

  Wonderful wonderful place to visit & stay for awhile. Everyone is so friendly. And you'll never go away hungry either! Yummy food!
