Great place! While some of the cabins could use updating, you are paying for a rustic cabin vacation in the northwoods. They have a bar which serves pizza, gameroom with a classuc tabletop Frogger. The owners were phenominal, you can tell they were infested in you having a good time. Every cabin gets a boat on a great fishing lake. Motors are very affordable if you want the upgrade. They have kayaks, paddleboats, and peddleboats. About a mile from town. Just a great overall stay.

Poor phone conversation when trying to find a spot to come for the weekend. Very discrimative towards large families. Would not even give a rate of a family of 6.
Would never recommend. I would rate it a 0 but 1 star is the lowest.

Best family and pet friendly resort in the Northwoods. Super well maintained and offers everything you'd want.

Loved it the owners are nice and friendly and will tell you good spots to fish even give you a map that has were the fish are on the lake and they have a fish house you can rent out boats the other boats are free kayak,sup,paddle boat caught 3 walleye 3 northern and almost my limit on crappie and same the next day they have tennis,shuffle board foot balls basket balls with hoop horse shoe and They have a bar also they have a floating pier you can jump off in the water

I stayed there about 10 yrs ago. Carol and Danny hosted an excellent property with many activities back then and thrilled to hear everything is still operating in the same fashion. I'd recommend Brekke's to anybody looking for a great lake get a way.

A 5 Star Resort with a 5 Star Touch. Amazing facility from the cabin we stayed in to the beach with its ammenities (raft to swim out to and dive off of, paddle boats, kayaks and Stand Up Paddle Boards - loved them), tennis courts, horse shoes, shuffle board and their very own bar off of the beach. Carol, Danny and Nancy are an amazing team and we can't wait to go back. If your looking for a resort in Rhinelander that is just outside of town and is very family friendly, clean and a great atmosphere make sure to give them a call.
