We have been coming back to Palmetto Bay Water Sports for the last four years to rent Jet Skis. In 2013 and 2014, we went on a Jet Ski tour through the canals and ended on Harbor River, where we could ride around in a designated area. Since 2015, we've opted for the free-form riding out to the main river. The Jet Skis were clean and ran well. We'll be back, again, next year.
We had an initial issue after reserving our charter. We were very disappointed and upset. HOWEVER, both my fiancé and I are in a customer service industry and understand that there can be an occasional mistake. That is not how we ever want to be remembered even though it happens. This is actually a positive review because in light of a human error, Conrad and Suzanne both did a remarkable job correcting this mistake. In this day and age this is very refreshing to us both because it is certainly a rarity. We take a great deal of pride in our work and truly respect our customers time. I can't say enough how impressed we were with their sincere and genuine apology. They really valued our time and business after the initial debacle. Thank you Conrad and Suzanne for all the sacrifices you both made to make our vacation incredible. They came highly recommended and we will definitely recommend them to our friends and family and hold their customer service in the highest regards.
Rented a pontoon for 1/2 day. Very easy to work with, helpful staff; flexible in scheduling. Had also rented from them in previous years, including kayaks and SUPs and a different pontoon. We'll use them again when back on HHI.
Great dolphin tours, kayak rentals, boat rentals and even Stand up paddle board rentals! Palmetto by a water sports is the perfect location for all your on the water needs!
The Waverunner service has always been top notch, been going to them for about 4 years now and enjoyed the slow ride out to the riding area. the guys working are a great help and care about what they do. Was going to go a second time this year and was sorry to hear that the wave runners are no longer being run by Palmetto Bay. Very sad to see this go, and would love to know who is taking that part over.
Great folks, very friendly and helpful. Rented two double kayaks for two hours at a rate that was half the overpriced outfitter where I was staying--$20 for one hour, $30 for two hours per kayak, with an extra free 1/2 hour (with 2 hours) with a web coupon. Pro-tip: Make sure to check the tide for the times you want to rent kayaks or other paddle boats. Try to select a time near the change of tides. I went two hours before the change and ended up paddling against 2-4 mph of tide on the way out. I enjoyed the extra exercise, but it might be too much. Overall, a great place, highly recommended.
