This place is such a rip off.. charged me 1300$ deposit for my puppy who winded up just having a parasite. Claimed to do all this care which I see none of. Picked him up and took him to another vet who was eager to actually help him and charged me a fraction of the cost. Vets at PBVS are extremely cocky and rude.

I can't tell you how amazing this group of people are. We had an unfortunate event where we lost one of my closest friend's dog. Palm Beach Veteranary Specialists took care of us so quickly and made us feel so comfortable with an amazing amount of empathy. Christina was amazing and talked me through the whole process. The doctor was amazing and caring and the whole place made me feel special during such a difficult time. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I hope I never have to visit you guys again, but if one of my pets has an emergency, I will be calling you without a doubt.

The issue I have with them is , they like charging you for so called extra care without giving the patient owners a call. For example my dog went In for a emergency spay due to her incisions reopened from her prior surgery somewhere else. When we first got there we pounder on the door and had to have a patient let us in. I called 5 mins prior to let them know we were on our way. You would think that they would have someone waiting for us, since my dog was bleeding out. After getting her admitted we were quoted a estimate price which we were fine with. The next morning after I called then at 9:17am to ask when I can pick up my dog. The receptionist said that she will have to call back. I recieved a call 3 hours later saying I can pick up my dog at 4 o'clock. When I got there, I was informed I was charged a addtional 225.00 for daycare of the dog. Which I assume is giving her her antibiotic and pain med and leaving her in a cage with some food. The issue I have with this is not the estimate, it's the fact that the staff uninformed me that I will be charged for this. If I knew this I would of picked her up at 10 am. When I asked questions, I was left waiting for 2 hours at time of check out to pick up my dog. To top it off when I received my dog and they handed me the care sheet, I had a few questions like when was her antibiotic and pain med last given. The vet tech could not answer that. I personally run a buisness myself. There staff needs to step it up. Then when I talked to the supervisor, they tried to justify saying they gave me 60.00 off. Sorry, this is a buisness. Your staff needs to step it up. I went to my primary vet 48hours later, and the informed me that non of my dogs records were faxed over. This is unacceptable.

Shockingly incompetent, unapologetic time-wasters. Called to verify they offer a certain basic service. Lady who answered confirmed they did. I arrive and reception lady tells me they don't and shrugs. Apparently "it's a big bldg and a lot of people answer the phone who don't know what we offer" Why are they answering your phone then?! Luckily our emergency wasn't life-threatening, but wowjust wow.

Dr. Roy was recommended to me by my pugs primary caregiver.
My husband and I were amazed not only at the facility but also the kindness that was shown. Our Lola was in the hospital there for 5 days. Because surgery would not be effective, we brought Lola home. On Tuesday am, we had to rush her back and sadly we had to have her euthanized. The Dr. and team member were so compassionate and patient.
My only complaint was that after receiving the final bill, over $6200 and I was expecting such a bill, I asked the desk people if they could change the 12 month interest free rate with Care Credit to possibly an 18 or 24 month interest free rate. "No", they said, Care Credit handles that. I called Care Credit and they said no PBVS take care of that. I just spoke again to PBVS who told me that the rate cannot be changed.
PBVS is an amazing place and you definitely get the service you pay for. However, I'm sure I am not the only client that finds such a short term free interest time financially hard.
