Awesome little place! The food was fantastic. My favorite was the Forest Floor soup. If you are a mushroom fan, you have to try it. I was there with a small group and we all tried a bit of each other's dishes, everything was very tasty. We visited during dinner hours, but after experiencing the food, service and looking at the rest of the menu for breakfast/lunch, we will definitely return for more. Also, if you are looking for a classy/casual dining experience, you can't beat the view of the window seating.

Lovely romantic atmosphere. Knowledgeable & polite wait staff. We came here once for breakfast & sat outside on the patio and had a lovely time. Tonight we went with friends for dinner & it was excellent!

This place is amazing! Perfect for a nice yet casual date night. The food is top notch: seasonal, mostly locally sourced, and oh-so-delicious. I suggest the Taste of Palette so you can get a perfectly portioned 3-course meal. We will definitely be back!

I came for lunch and was taken by surprise. The view was phenomenal, and the service was impeccable. It seemed like only one server was on for the majority of the lunch rush, and she somehow never missed a beat. The lunch menu is quite small, but the quality was wonderful. The Margarita pizza is thin and light, and the chicken paella was a bit over spiced but my husband loved it. The atmosphere is great, and we will definitely come again!

Very beautiful restaurant on the Bay, great food and accommodating staff. It was a bit loud, but that is just the type of environment it is. My wife and I had the crab cakes, which were delicious. Also had the quail and my wife had the peach salad, both were very good! Also don't forget your French press coffee! :)

We just had a truly memorable meal at Palette Bistro. My husband and I each ordered the Taste of Palette -your choice of any small plate, large plate and desert. I ordered the Forest Floor soup, John Cross Salmon and the key lime cheesecake. I was blown away by the meal. Simply delicious! My husband had the Paella, crab cakes and berry crisp. He was just as happy as I was. The view is wonderful too- overlooking Little Traverse Bay. The service was prompt and courteous, and the meal was very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!

We had our rehearsal dinner here with our closest family. Making the reservation was very easy and establishing the select menu for the dinner was even easier. Everyone at the dinner couldn't get over how delicious the food was and had nothing but awesome reviews. The seating arrangement was beautiful and had such an amazing view of Lake of Michigan. The service was fantastic and was attentive to everyone's needs. We will definitely be back!

We dined at the Palette Bistro on a beautiful summer evening in July, 2017. It is a great venue a stone's throw from Little Traverse Bay. The menu, while limited, is both diverse and adventurous. I dined on the best paella east of San Francisco and my better half thoroughly enjoyed her beef tenderloin.
The staff is young, enthusiastic and outgoing. Service was good and timely. Prices were modest for the typical resort town eatery.
It would have been an altogether wonderful experience and a 5 star review but for what I suspect is becoming a very unpleasant trend. The layout of the restaurant and the American crowd made this restaurant LOUD. When I complain about sound levels, it is because I cannot hear what my partner across the table is saying in a normal tone of voice while I am afflicted with the shouts at the next table. Do something about the decibels, dudes!

Best place to dine in downtown Petoskey. The food is healthy and delicious. They make all their breads and soups in house from scratch too . Everything on the menu is a winner . The staff is attentive, polite and inviting . Chef Micheal at the counter is a pleasure to chat with .

Great atmosphere, views and location. BEST of all, the food is fabulous - Chef Jeremy has a really great and diverse menu - as well as the best thin crust pizza in Petoskey!

Atmosphere is great with amazing views of the water. Our waitress was Shannon and she was great and made our dining experience wonderful. All the rest of the staff were all really nice too! I would give the food a 4 out of 5, but they do make good mixed drinks!
