Amazing, caring, professional. These people care and pay attention. And push you to make you become better.
After experiencing a very rough knee surgery, this place helped me tremendously to regain my strength and range of motion. The therapists were very good at explaining how certain exercises would help, making it all that much more intimate. That, along with the great amount of encouragement I was given, helped me more than I can put into words.
I was referred by a friend to this physical therapy facility after I tore a muscle in my upper inner thigh from a martial arts tournament. They were highly recommended by all of the athletes in town who had experiences with physical therapy and injury. After going through physical therapy for about two months there, I felt like I had gone through a good amount of procedures to correctly strengthen and heal the injured area. I was overall satisfied with my care and I haven't had problems with the injury since then even though I am still quite active. (I'm in my 20's)
I have found in the past ten years it is easy to determine the specialty of a Physical Therapist. For me, the Peak Sport and Spine PT location in Camdenton is geared more to sport injuries in young athletes rather than to adult issues. A knee injury coupled with the muscle pain of Fybromyalgia brought me back to Physical Therapy. However too much too fast in my initial meeting left me in excruciating pain for 30 hours following my first visit. Based on my experience I will need to find a Physical Therapist more in tune with the limitations Fibromyalgia coupled with injury presents.
