Took my kid for what may have been a broken finger, made an appointment for 10 am online but got there at 9am and got checked in. Was in the waiting room for about a half hour. Dr. Hagley was great, really caring and obviously enjoys working with kids. It's great that they have an x-ray so we didn't have to go to the ER.
This is the place to go if you need an office visit for a doctor and want to be seen quickly. Staffed by excellent Nurse Pactioners. If you need an X-ray or have Life Threatening Emergency, go to the ER.
We waited 1.5 hours to see a nurse practitioner only to be told to go to the EMergency Room at the hospital across the street. Interestingly 4 other people ahead of us at this Urgent Care were also sent to the ER, where there was an additional 2.5 hour wait . Seemed very fishy .
Was hesitant to go because of bad reviews. I'm from out of town. Took my 2 year old on a Saturday morning, 10am. Was seen quickly. Nurses were very friendly. We were in and out within 45 min. Excellent service.
We are visiting family from out of state and found ourselves needing a pediatric urgent care visit. We live in Laurie and the Laurie clinic advised they only see urgent care patients on weekends and that we'd have to drive to the Osage side to be seen. Regardless of doing the online express check in 30 minutes before we arrived, we still ended up waiting 1hour and 15 minutes before we were called back. The. Ice thing was once we were called back the nurse and doctor saw us quickly and we were in and out.
Worst urgent care experience ever. Called ahead of time to verify they could treat our son's condition which I was assured they could treat. After an almost 2 hour wait, I was told that they actually couldn't treat him & that I needed to go to the ER. My recommendation is to drive to Jefferson City.
incident was with urgent care in OB. Long story short, i busted my head open with a fence post driver and my girlfriend freaked out and made me go to the urgent care. She called ahead and explained the situation and that i was refusing to go. When i arrived the Dr barely examined me and told me i needed to go to the ER. "We do not do this to jack your bill up. " Is what she said. Yeah right. A small 2" cut ended up costing over $600. Haven't paid and will not pay. The ER nurse laughed when i told her what happened and even agree that it was ridiculous for me to be there. The ER doctor never said anything, but gave the same vibe. The ER girls were great, but i do not feel that i should be forced to pay such an extreme amount for poor consultation from the urgent care Dr
After going online to register around 2 pm, I was contacted to let me know I wouldn't be seen until 5:30. I arrived to check in, and was told I needed to go to the E.R. for a chest cold. This was the worst clinic I've ever been to. If you are to be given the run around. I would have just saved myself the wait, and went to the E.R. I was so upset I didn't even bother to get treated. So my advice is don't waste your time.
