Terrible experience with Joe Pace of Pace Realty. Joe Pace is a nasty person to deal with and completely incompetent. Save yourself the $ and headache and just RUN!

I can't really express what a shady person this guy is. I lived in one of his apartments for almost 5 years. He will raise your rent whenever legally possible, he will not fix anything properly, and he will act like he's doing you a big favor by not gauging you more. Look up "slum lord" in the dictionary and there's a picture of Joe Pace.

I want to let people know how good my experience with Pace-Bird Rock Realty was. I have lived in one of their PB apartments for 3 years. During this time I have found the Family Business to be a very professional experience. They have kept the Apt complex very clean, quiet and a very comfortable place to live. This company has been in this location for nearly 50 years and they show it with every interaction. Over the years I have asked for some maintenance items and they have promptly addressed them for me with courtesy. I recently have been transferred out of state and went through their move-out process and received my full deposit refunded by mail promptly. When and if I return to San Diego I will not hesitate to call on them to find me a home to buy as my permanent home. I'm sure they can find me not only a great home but also awesome financing. I highly recommend this company.

I bought a dress from their online store and I was really impressed when I called the store for fitting info and the lady was really nice and helpful. Also I ordered regular shipping from Cali to New York and it was at my house in two days. It was wrapped really good. Highly recommend.
