Our home is just over 1 year old and Overhead Door garage doors had been installed by the developer. We're having an issue where the keypad is burning through batteries, 6 sets in 9 months. I reached out and they do not have a date of installation associated with the address - a clerical error on their part - so they cannot confirm that the warranty is still valid. They said I could pay $165 for the technician to come out and $70 for the part - they run about $50 at Lowe's. Completely professional service associate but they failed to offer a reasonable alternative for an error they made.

Great same day service to replace 4 springs on 2 doors. One spring had broken and the others were over 20 years old and getting rusty. I called some other independent shops and they were, in my opinion, crooks. Others wanted to charge $40 to come out and look and then give me a quote and not refund the $40 if I gave them the job. What a sham.
Overhead Door told me a price over the phone for the parts and properly set expectations on labor time and rate. The job was done quicker than I expected and the cost was appropriate for the work done. Well below others. Save your time and wallet, just call these guys. Good job Overhead!

We couldn’t be happier with our new garage doors and openers. Our neighbors are jealous of how quietly they open. Sales manager John Davis was a pleasure to work with and the installers did a great job. They arrived exactly when they said they would and did neat clean work. I would highly recommend Overhead Door to anyone looking for new doors.

Our experience from planning to installation was excellent. Our sales rep Fred White helped us design an overhead door to fit a custom space and was very thorough with placement of the windows and hardware. Our overhead door was delivered on schedule and the installer, Brett Kennedy, was polite and patient as I asked him to let me see the windows in a few different postitions. I would recommend Overhead Door of Boston to all of my friends, family or anyone who needs a new door,

They stand by their product, even when it's wrong. We ordered a rather expensive large custom door but somehow the order form was incorrectly filled out by the salesman. The door that arrived had the wrong style windows but we didn't notice at first and had it painted as was required before installation. After installation, when we noticed the error, they replaced the window portion at their expense - removing the section, adding a replacement block to keep weather out, shipping it back to California, shipping the new one back, and re-installing it. They including re-priming and re-painting that section. A year later when it wasn't closing smoothly, they came out right away and fired it no charge. While it wasn't always easy to deal with them, the stuff that really mattered was top shelf. The door is beautiful, the installation is professional, and the after sale service is comprehensive. I would recommend them to others.
