Okay where do I start? It is absolutely the best breakfast restaurant in Scottsdale. Every time I sit down and look at the menu I see another appealing item that I haven't tried before. When you look at the Benedict menu, you will see an item that is called corned beef Benedict I believe. Instead of the English muffin on the bottom there is a large Patty of corned beef and it certainly is delicious!

Awesome place for a quick breakfast. We just happened to pop in one day because the Henry had a wait.
I had the Benedict and my wife had an omelette. Both were GREAT! The coffee here is outstanding as well.
I can see the parking situation here probably gets a little hairy, but the restaurant is great!response / report this review -

Chicken friend chicken is a winner. Small diner style with good vibes. 10 seat bar with their cold brew coffee. Usually fairly busy on weekends as good breakfast spots are. Fresh OJ also. 🍊

Stopped in early on a Sunday morning at the Indian School location, they were not busy. I ordered pancakes which took a fairly long time to come out. Coffee is good. The pancakes were OK, a bit heavy and dense for a basic pancake. It is a plus that they serve these with real maple syrup but they only give you an ounce or so in a small metal container. Not sure if you can ask for more without being charged. $8.00 for 3 pancakes..well you be the judge. They also serve it with real butter on the side but it was half melted when it arrived.
What I noticed though was a lack of basic sanitation. There was a person handling the oranges and juicing machine. The oranges were put in the machine straight from the box in other words not rinsed. The person was handling a ready to eat (OK drink) food item without gloves. The juice was placed into what appeared to me containers that were not very clean and had several tops that were cracked/broken. One of the containers of juice sat on the counter (where people eat) uncovered for the entire time I was eating and was still sitting there uncovered when I left. I also observed servers walking by with food with their thumbs actually inside the plates. If this is ok to do where all can see what is done behind the doors?
I may try another location as many of the other menu items look interesting and good.response / report this review -

Good food, service is slow on weekends and gets a little crowded. Prices are great, good coffee, and a good variety of food to choose from. Kids menu has a good amount of options. Our kids love it!

Our waitress was amazing very attentive and warm welcoming. I was excited being my first time. The service and the food was excellent. I can't wait to go back!! :)

Stopped in for breakfast this morning. The fresh squeezed orange juice was amazing. Food was ok and the service was poor. Waited at least 15 minutes to get our check when we were done as the waitress was too busy chatting up a man dining alone at the bar.

Take this with a grain of salt, as I am a cynical person. I expected service to be bad here when we walked in. The service here is slow and oblivious. We waited over ten mins and watched white patrons get service before us. When we were tended to, the waitress was clueless, apologetic, but clueless. The drinks were watered down and by this time I started to have a bad feeling about remaining there. Even though we placed an order, we decided to leave.
I don't want to call this establishment racist because I don't think they are, but after reading the reviews on this place they definitely need some help. Will never be back.response / report this review -

Warm friendly looking restaurant didn't quite match the hasty and lacking service from our waitress even though it was slow. I loved my breakfast burger and sweet tots- I totally devoured it; my bf thought that the steak n eggs was pretty good as well. However, my bf and I shared the TV worthy Banana French Toast and thought it tasted pretty bad. It had a weird bitter after taste like maybe it was cooked with something old or gas.. Overall, a decent place, but not racing to return.

I saw this place on Diners Drive thru's and dives.. I thought it was ok. We got a table outside the hallway on the way to the restroom which is always fun Service was good.

The food was DELICIOUS! 😍 My family and I each got a good portion of food that we all ate. The eggs and the meat was wonderful ( the best I've ever had ). I recommend to go there for breakfast, not lunch. Our server, Amanda, was amazing and she always had a smile on her pretty face! 😁 The place was neat and clean, with bright colors! 👍🏻 All of the servers showed great posture and they represented the restaurant!

Food is good, drinks are okay, and service is not bad. Over all average. They recently redecorated and it looks good, but nothing really pops out and grabs you. Come in for breakfast, but don't expect the meal of your life.

My favorite location because of the $8 mimosa with penny refills and they put it in a regular glass with just a splash of oj. Food is always good no complaints. But this place gets packed on weekends, be prepared to wait like EVERY WHERE else. Scottsdale location is the ABSOLUTE BEST (food and service) Gilbert location is a joke.

Great place for a delicious, solid breakfast. The only waiting area is outside their front door though. They do serve alcohol, which is a nice addition. Their fresh squeezed orange juice is great. Service is spot on and detailed. I'll be back here for breakfast the next time I'm in Phoenix!
