Just everything is so modern! The outside may look like a "whatever" place, but the "its the inside that counts" rule applies to this restaurant so well! The food certainly is authentic! The flavors are so similar to Mexico's! And not many restaurants can achieve this! The waiters are clearly experienced and are tip-worthy! Everything on the menu is great! Not to mention their non-americanized pancakes! They are so indulging! Everyone is so attentive to your needs ! They are open to opinions and comments! They are packed on Sundays for brunch, often. Still worth waiting for though! This restaurant is urban and has great flavors.

Breakfast burritos are my favorite from here. Great weekend brunch item. Freshly made tortilla, good portions. Can’t count how many times I have had this.

Best tacos in Phoenix. Instantly fell in love. Nothing is over seasoned or over whelming. Their carne asada is absolutely perfect. Extremely moist and marinated steak that is absolutely fantastic. I could eat 15 tacos in one sitting and not feel guilty. Breakfast burritos are fantastic and the pancakes are worth writing home about. Yeah I had to bring Mom to try em.

The food and service was great. We walked in around 3PM and was seated right away. We ordered guacamole dip and one tamale. The waiter, Seth brought two kinds of salsa right away with tortilla chips. We ordered shrimp tacos, ribeye steak taco and one white fish taco plus two pulled pork tacos. The white fish taco had a fishy taste. The pulled pork tacos came with cube pork not pulled pork. The Tortilla was thin and Light. The food over all was great and we look forward to returning but will be avoiding to be avoiding fish tacos.

This place has some good food. It's got a nice look and great service as well. The only problem if they lack of parking and a huge crowd. They also have some outstanding cocktails here.

I stopped into this restaurant for a business meeting and it was the best decision I've done far as food stops. Their breakfast was amazing I haven't had anything this good since traveling to San Diego. I Stay over 30 miles from this place but I will travel once a week just to get this meal. My server was exceptional. The owner came and checked on us and asked us how I meal was .I like the interaction. The only thing was the music was a little too loud when the server was letting me know what ingredients were in the meals but again other than that my new favorite spot.

    Poor service.

We waited at the hostess desk for several minutes before anyone in the restaurant acknowledged we were there. Then told to sit and wait for a table even though the restaurant was less than half occupied.

The appetizers and main course arrived simultaneously. There was not enough room on the table. Had to remind the server twice to bring drinks that were ordered, and he didn't bother asking if I wanted a refill during the meal. The server kept rushing us through the meal. Plates were picked up off the table while we were still eating. He dropped the check on the table and ignored us after that. I ended up paying the manager at the bar.

Relaxed atmosphere, I like it when the crew at a restaurant is having a good time. Good size menu with happy hour. Classic Mexican options, and the Horchata was on point.
Food arrived normally and was really good. I recommend the steak burrito. The sauces and saute on the meats are delicious.

This is my favorite stop for Mexican food in Central Phoenix. They have a great patio in the back!

Otro Cafe is intimate and warm. The staff sure made us feel at home. The food is something I'm still pondering. As an appetizer I ordered what turned out to be Italian bacon with avocado served with slices of sourdough bread. I had pozole blanco with overcooked (very soft) hominy & pretty salty shredded pork, and a torta de carne asada which, unfortunately, its bread was the tastiest part of the torta. Though, the flan was very good, I'm not sure I'd go back to try other dishes.
