Excellent but challenging course. The faiways are always in good shape unless there has been a lot of rain. Then you'll run into some spots that just don't drain well. Those holes are usually marked as "cartpath only". The greens are kept very well and putt pretty true but there are some very subtle breaks you just don't see when lining up the putt. This is not condo golf and it is built on swampland. Beautiful! You're out there with nature. Enjoy!

The staff has been great. We have been only using the driving range. No issues at all.

    THE ESSENCE OF FLORIDA GOLF!!!!!

Play this course — you will love it. Each hole is more gorgeous than the next. The greens are in impeccable condition and rolling firm, fast, and true.

We played the Raven (9) then the Flacon (9) and I can honestly say this course is more beautiful and in better shape than many private tracks I’ve played.

The setting makes all the difference. You won’t find any homes or busy highways near by — only tranquil nature preserves with indigenous wildlife everywhere.

This is the way Florida golf is supposed to be.

Something should also be said about the superintendent — “Way to go!” The course is in pristine condition only days after Hurricane Irma. That’s amazing!

Congratulations to the entire staff for running such a great facility. From the moment we arrived were greeted with a smile at the bag drop, followed by friendly service in the pro shop. The starter was knowledgeable and gregarious. On the turn we stopped by the snack bar and found freshly made sandwiches and cold beer. What more can you ask for.

We will play this course many more times!

Arguably the best golf course in South Florida. Gentlemen in the pro shop was a bit dry, however the starters and gentlemen working the golf carts were super friendly. Pace of play was normal, got the round done in four hours. Went by myself and they quickly paired me with a group of three and it was a very enjoyable round.

This is a Beautiful course with very nice Cart girls, HOWEVER, I've had MULTIPLE bad experiences with staff on the phone, in the pro shop and the starters. Very lackadaisical, and even worse, often rude. I understand this is a public course but I've played many public courses in many different states and never had any issues. Plus you can't even get a breakfast sandwich at the snack bar W T F ?

I wish I could lie and write that Osprey Point is terrible to keep it all for myself. The truth is it's the best public course I have ever played and competitive with many private courses. Practice facility is very nice as well. Club house is humble, but not the reason you visit Osprey. People are starting to catch on to its greatness, so the tee sheets are getting busier (but pace of play is always good). A must for any serious golfer in south Florida.
