The Day Out with Thomas was Great fun for the young ones. Get in line early for train if you want to sit in an old passenger train-car. The latecomers get a more modern comfortable car. Bounce houses and many other activities are included with price of ticket.

Went during the Thomas the Train exhibit. Must say that my niece and I had a blast! Besides riding on Thomas and Percy trains, there some vintage streetcars from the original Los Angeles Railway. So much to do at the museum and it's very kid friendly!

Had a blast with the family. Bring cash because every food booth takes cash only except for the gift shop. Due to a power outage we had to wait for the electronics to be up and running. Great atmosphere and fun for the kids.

This is A great place to go for the day. There is so much to learn and see about the trains. They Offer rides on various types of trains and cable cars for a small price. They also have A picnic area and an area for birthday parties as well.

We had a blast at the Day with Thomas event. We got tickets for 9:00 AM which meant great parking situation and short lines. This event is so well run. There is a crew of Adventure Scouts and ROTC students there to help at every station and wherever you went. They had a nursing/baby changing station which I thought was such a great touch for mothers. We loved the trains and the picture stations, however the event would have been fun even without the train rides! I highly recommend this anyone who has children who enjoy Thomas the Train. It was a great family activity.

Loved it it was part of a birthday gift for our soon to be 4 yr n his big bro 6 yr old. They both enjoyed to the max yayyyy choo choo ☺️🚍

This place is very interesting. Its Highly recommended for visitors to go on the weekends only when there are guided tours and trolleys running. Its open on weekdays but its a ghost town plus no explanations of the different exhibits. I like This place.

Our First time there. My 3 year old Son rode the trolley and a big Train for the First time. Of course all he wanted to do was play with the Wood train set in the little Shop..lol. Also He loved the Kid size Wood Train Cars especially the Blue Engine. He could have stayed in it for Hours.

If you love trains this is the largest train museums west of the Mississippi (so I was told). Would reccomend attending on the weekends because tours are NOT offered on weekdays. Unfortunately we went on the weekday and there was no train rides and no tours. Staff was very nice and the 1 volunteer on site did somewhat show us around despite being over 100 degrees. Small gift site, and little area for kids to place and have lunch. Will try to attend in the future.

Overall you cant complain about a free ride. A short 500 ft ride takes over 30 mins. I would suggest going during the non summer months

A great little jewel hidden in the desert. Our guide had much knowledge and was very informative. We all truly enjoyed this place.

Friendly staff, nice collection of rolling stock. Wish there were clearer information about what rolling stock they have and where it's located. Also wish their streetcar operation had more operational track in addition to the short, slow loop. The grounds of the museum are very nice with lots of grassy, shaded areas and places to picnic. The main station area and boarding platforms are really well done and maintained.

Admission on 'most' days is FREE! Train and trolley rides on weekends and some holidays. Facebook page has up to date information. Watch as volunteers bring the past back to life. Become a member and help them do it, or learn to operate them yourself. Your kids or grandkids would be impressed if you were the engineer. A great day is a picnic in their park.

It is a little messy but it was entertaining! There was a cute old man who took us around and told us all about the trains and let us go in them. They also have this adorable gift shop and of course we ended up spending $25 because the items were just so cute and the whole experience was enjoyable. It's a really awesome historical museum that would be fun for families!,
