I recently attended the CCDW Carrying Concealed Deadly Weapons License training class at OpenRange. My instructor was Mr. Garland Brown Jr. He was extremely experienced, personable, and informative. The instructor managed to turn a boring 7 hour classroom session into a enjoyable experience teaching key firearm safety topics. I highly recommend this class, location, and instructor.

I go to Open Range a couple of times a month, when the weather drives me indoors. I usually shoot outside long range. This location is top notch, I have shot for over 50 years at several locations, by far this one is the nicest. 25 yard pistol to 100 yard rifle. The range officers are on their toes to safety issues that pop up and correct people with the right way to handle a weapon so all goes home with what they walked in with.
I have been in locations where barrel control was not an issue, and swing a barrel at me and I won't be back.
The place is clean, well organized, with paint ball room as an option for old kids.
If you want to experience a class location. Then look no further.
Prices reflect a far margin that reflects the costs of the building, air handling system, and insurance costs I'm sure.
Walk in with a $1500-$2 grand gun and don't complain on the range prices.. pay to play. pay to play.

Okay range and gun shop. Two complaints.
1- On the 100 yard range there is no where to store your equipment your not using. Your expected to place it all at your feet or on the table your shooting from. Should be designated shelving in the abundant collective space behind your shooting lane for your gear.
2- in this day and age in technology why is there not accessible WiFi at this range. Especially when you might have to wait over an hour (like I did) to use the range. There is WiFi but it’s locked. Asked a clerk for the password and he said they won’t even give it out to the workers.

Been coming here for 6 years and change and every time they have always been absolutely top notch. these guys have everything you'll ever need from targets to ammo, and the rifle range itself is a cut above on its own, very user friendly and climate controlled too.

My wife and I have been here several times now. It's a great place for both beginners as well as those who are more experienced. The range is very safety-oriented, clean, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They are very welcoming to first-time shooters and will work to ensure that not only is a beginner handling a firearm safely, but they'll also provide guidance and help ease any apprehension or nervousness one may be experiencing. This has become our go-to place for when we're up for a little target practice. We'll definitely keep coming back!

This was honestly the best range. The person I took with me had little to no gun training. They gave the best instructions and made sure she was comfortable with her firearm. The entire staff was awesome and I have found a new range.

Top notch!!!!! I took my wife here, for her first.. Let me say that again her FIRST gun experience ever! She had an absolute blast it was amazing and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We will be returning. Let me just say thank you! To the whole team at open range! Okay so I can't add a second review BUT.. this was our second visit to open range, and the staff is still helpful as ever and our original range officer even 3 weeks later still remembered us and was talking about our first experience like it was yesterday!! Amazing Now we're looking into a membership to this range! Phenomenal Thank you again

Friendly staff, prices are OK to good with some deals. OK selection, not the most well stocked.

The range is alittle dark but nice, but I'm not a big indoor range person. The range in modern.

I attended the safety class with Bobby G. He is a great instructor. A lot of experience and great with newbies like me. He has a great sense of humor and makes the class fun and interesting. Can't wait to go back!

I started going to Open Range a while back and ended up buying a membership. I love the fact that I can reserve lanes so I don't have to wait when I arrive to shoot. The staff is great and very helpful, whether you need advice or some work done on your firearm. The lanes are well maintained and clean, plus the staff takes gun safety very seriously, which I appreciate. Lastly, yes, as some other reviewers have pointed out, some of the firearms and accessory items might be priced more than you can get online, but that's not always the case. For example, I just bought a new HK pistol from Open Range that they had on sale, which was cheaper than any online price I could find.

I had visited Openrange before and when I was in the market for a new pistol I decided to go to Openrange due to my previous experience. After some research I soon learned the pistol I was looking for was not available in the area so I wanted to find out if there were any comparable pistols available.

Upon entering I was kindly greeted by staff members and they were quick to help and were very professional in answering my questions. After explaining what I was looking for and providing information regarding my preferences the staff member (.. I can't remember his name, sorry. But I'd know him if I saw him!) was able to provide a good recommendation. I ended up renting the same model pistol and rented a lane with ammo.

The lanes, similar to my previous experience, were very clearly marked and the range is clean. The range appeared to be staffed with knowledgeable people and they seemed able to help other people in their lanes when needed. After going through a couple of hundred rounds I had decided the pistol was a great recommendation. To me, this proved the staff was able to determine what would "work" based on the information I gave them. Bonus score for the staff!

Once I decided to purchase the pistol the staff was very helpful in helping me find some additional accessories that I needed. My experience was very good and I ended up going again within the next couple of days and my experience was just as good.
