Two things that One Tree Planted does very well from a donor perspective: 1: They make it very easy to find the kind of tree planting project you want to support, and is any amount. 2: Lots of great educational materials.

I give to One Tree Planted every time I get the chance, and I've always felt appreciated by their team. (P.S. if you need a t-shirt, they've got some pretty cool ones)

One Tree Planted is a fantastic non-profit doing vital work that is important to the whole world. They are dedicated to making an impact on climate change and make it fun and exciting to do so. The whole team is incredibly responsive and always ready to help! They are a truly inspiring organization and volunteering with them was an absolute blast!

One Tree Planted is an amazing organization and it was a pleasure getting in touch and partnering with them. Everyone is very kind, and it was great getting to share our enthusiasm for planting trees and saving the forests! Kelsey, the first contact I had at the organization, is a great representative and great to talk to. She and Caitlin, the awesome account manager who facilitated our partnership with One Tree Planted, were great to connect with and it was such a good experience getting to have a virtual meeting with Caitlin to discuss our project and partnership. I’m very glad I reached out to these folks!

I really wanted to donate to an organization I felt would put the money to best use planting trees, which I feel we desperately need. I was so pleased to find One Tree Planted which works globally and was even more excited to find that the donation I made that month was working on replanting in British Columbia where I live. After the bad forest fires we had in the summer, this will go towards helping repair the forest ecology in my own area.

It's a no-brainer. You can donate as little as $1 a month, and it's a monthly, regular donation (don't have to think about it, just set it up on the credit card, and done!) and it goes to a good cause. They provide you with regular updates about what they're doing, invite you to tree planting events in your area (when available) and are very transparent. There's no worrying about where the money goesyou can easily find out. It's a cause I feel strongly about, and I love donating to One Tree Planted. I feel good about itand I always donate in others' names at Christmas (a la George Costanza and 'The Human Fund'). It makes everyone chuckle, and it's a good deed :)
