I bring nothing but clean, practically new clothes! They nitpick through everything, barely take any items and I bring bags but the clothes they do sell , have stains, holes and smell really bad ! And way over priced for a 2nd hand store and barely give you any money back for the items you bring !. The ladies who work there are very rude ! Your better off saving your items and having a garage sale! I do not recommend this store !!!
They are the worst when it comes to them buying things you are selling. You won’t get any money really for the items. I took a bassinet up there and they offered me $11. It is brand new and I paid a $100 for it. Don’t take anything valuable or you paid some money for you will get nothing.
Good spot a little highly priced for a second hand store
I went this past saturday for the grab bag sale and let me tell you. I was able to find clothes for both my kids but i feel like they made the bag bigger but had like wayyy less clearance items this time so it wasnt really fair . But besides that everything was good
Nicely organized store with fun shopping carts for toddlers. The clothes are certainly more pricey than the Salvation Army, for sure, but for the most part you'll still get very nice items for less than you would buying them outright (plus, everything is organized by size for you, rather than having to dig). It's good to remember that the owner(s) have to earn money for their families, too, when thinking about how much something costs overall. I bought several pairs of nice Polo khaki pants for my boys, along with some nice dress shirts. My son loves the brand-new Cars slippers we bought for a few dollars. We will continue shopping, and highly recommend the store.
Today 5/9/2017 was my first time shopping in a Once upon a child store, I was helped since the moment I walked in. Everyone was nice and friendly. I had my hands full with my 4 year old and my 6 months old baby girl (diaper bag and her blanket) the cashier was so kind as to help me with my bags 😊. I got great deals 👍.
I've always had s good experience consigning my child's gently used items here. They are fair and their re-sell prices are reasonable, so you do not feel like you are getting "got".
I think that at times we can forget that when we consign that our items are being sold at a discount, and it is a business. With that being said, I have been bringing my child's items that we no longer use here for almost two years. At times I wish I would have gotten a little more, considering condition and how much I paid, but just thinkyou could get nothing! I give a lot away to friends as well, so it is nice to get something back once in a while.
I disagree with other reviews and would you encourage you to take your items here if you are looking for a little extra cash. If nothing else, you can also shop here, as they have a nice selection of clothing and baby items, so you will feel that you received a bargain in the end.
Great ladies who want to help and showed superb customer service.😄
Very clean store and professional friendly staff. Play area for kids. Prices on some things seemed expensive to me for a second hand store. However only been there once. I will visit again Lord willing.
They have great clothes and paid quite well for some items I brought in.
I am a frequent shopper here. Great toy selection with reasonable prices (Some big toys can be ridiculously expensive for used items) good clothes selection also. Altho when there are sales they only select older clothes. Very used items
I love Once Upon a Child, I have been a regular customer for 10 years now, but this location provided poor customer service. They have extremely long wait times, mainly because the staff completely stop what they are doing to converse with each other. I also heard the staff expressing themselves rudely and unprofessionally about other customers in the store. Never waisting my time in this location again.
