Every part of our stay was amazing. The person who check us in was really nice and informative. House keeping did a great job cleaning our room. The pool was perfect for kids. Started super shallow and had a very gental slope down that gave our 2 year old a lot of space to safely play. Part of the pool was also protected by some sun umbrellas. The pool could have been a touch warmer considering it’s early December but it wasn’t bad. The breakfast buffet was great. Room service/food was great. I wish the poolside bar was open but being off season I totally understand why it was closed. Now when we booked the trip a lady named Rita took our reservation and was very rude and short with us. We kept asking for a break down of all the things we wanted and she just kept cutting us off and asking for our payment. She didnt explain about AAA discount like we kept asking and she was in no way pleasant. We almost didn’t book this resort because of it. Everyone else delivered top notch customer service.
The Omni resort was entertaining and very nice. The staff were very friendly and inviting. There are a lot of activities around the grounds and had very easy beach access. There was a spider in the bathroom but I believe that was from the room not being used frequently. Everything else was great!
Went for my wedding night. Had reserved a basic room overlooking the parking lot. When the front desk receptionist found out I was there for my wedding, he upgraded me to an ocean front suite. Had a great view and a fantastic bed. 10/10
Everything has been excellent during this trip to visit family in Hilton Head. Checking in, there were mimosas, fresh regular and strawberry lemonade, and cucumber water. The room is very accommodating with clean comfortable beds and feather pillows and down comforters. The staff has been top notch, professional, considerate, and accommodating. All reservations and planning relative to respect activities have been handled through the concierge or guest services. The daily servicing has been thorough and been thorough CONSISTENTLY. The pool side services have been exceptional a well. We have received nothing short of the service you would hope for at the price of the accommodations. This stay has made me doubt that "economy class" lodging has ever been with the discount and when rolled in with flight and car rental the trip itself has been very affordable and well worth it to experience a truly up scale resort experience and vacation.
The resort staff were great. Decent room. Little trouble with the bathroom door not closing, but they fixed that promptly. If you book a resort view, it means parking lot. The resort is actually pretty. Thus why I booked resort view. The rooms that over look the resort, are considered ocean front. The continental breakfast is not worth paying the extra money. You are better off going out for breakfast. Hilton Head diner, that's where to go for breakfast. I would also skip the hh prime. 37 for a 7oz fillet minion. Limited menu. Not really worth it. The meat was great, but in my mind not worth the experience. Great pools, bike rentals, you can walk out onto beach, within a few steps. I rather enjoyed the shore house. Quiet, great view of beach. Rocking chairs in front of rail to sit and read, or soak up the sun. The spa was wonderful. Staff were spectacular. Just be prepared for the price. Complimentary coffee/tea/juice, delivered in am, was nice.
We had a King Ocean View Suite. While the view was somewhat obscured by the trees, it was the only negative I have about our stay. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. We did not lack for dinner options on or off of the resort grounds. Lastly the beach is amazing and well worth choosing Hilton Head as your travel destination. We have enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.
We really enjoyed our stay here in August 2017. There was some initial confusion about the bed types in our two rooms, but it was eventually resolved professionally. We had great beach views from the rooms, and we appreciated the complimentary morning beverages and kitchenettes in the rooms. The hallways are open to the outdoors (not air-conditioned), but we liked the easy access to the beach and pools from the stairs at the end of the hallway. The adults only pool was a nice touchb and the location provided easy access to local golf and kayaking. The elevators were very warm and humid and would probably be even more uncomfortable on hotter days.
Nice place, we stayed for a family getaway and was happy with the property. Good breakfast and nice beach access. Wife and I thought about moving to SC after our getaway.
I am not sure what anyone else expects out of a luxury hotel, but cockroaches and black mold were definitely not what we were expecting. We stayed at the hotel for a friends wedding and were thoroughly disappointed. The first room we were placed in came with complimentary black mold and cockroaches. The second night they changed our room (to an upgrade?) it was the same room down the hall. The new room would not cool below 76 degrees. They did comp us a breakfast which we just stared at due to being grossed out by the cockroach running across my wife's foot when she got out of the shower. They also comp'd us a whopping $24.00 each night (Wow how nice of them). We missed wedding activities and catching up with friends we haven't seen in years due to the room change. It should have been a great experience, but we ended up paying a luxury fee and getting a Motel 8 experience.
Pet friendly and people friendly. I enjoyed my stay. The service was amazing. Location is ocean front with beach access. Rooms all face the ocean, however some do not give desired ocean view.
The rooms were great. Very spacious and nice. Our room had two double beds, a nice balcony (I feel you would be able to see the beach from almost every balcony there), a small kitchen area, and a good bathroom that had a separate sink and mirror outside the bathroom. The hotel had several restaurants and plenty of nice areas to relax with two large fire pits, an area to play chess, table tennis, etc. Three nice pools including one adult pool. Was also right on the beach for easy access. Loved it and would definitely go back.
Nice location, not worth the amount of money. The beach behind the hotel is very nice, clean, and not crowded. The room was big and had a lot of amenities, maid service was amazing and staff was friendly. However, when we first got to our room, the entire carpet was wet. The resort charges a $22 "resort fee" per day to use the "resort amenities" (pools and beach). The hotel restaurant, room service, and pool bar are all significantly overpriced. It's nice if you have tons of money to spend and don't care about worth, but when you think of a resort, this is not the place that you would expect.
