Very clean and quiet. The staff extremely friendly. The Whispering Frog serves great breakfast with huge portions.

Stayed one night here and we loved it. Room was very clean and updated. Check in went smoothly as the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The lobby is well appointed and welcoming. Not much of a view as it faces the golf course, and it sits a good mile from the downtown core, but it makes up for the location with a pool and hot tub, great prices and friendly service.

A great place to stay. Rooms were clean and the staff was extremely friendly and kind. Every day they had a fire going in the fireplace made this day feels so cozy. Every time I would go to the front desk and ask something they knew exactly what room I was in which that is unheard of I travel a lot and they always ask me what my room number is.

This is the nicest and best place to stay in this town. Staff is nice and pool/hot tub great. Beautiful golf course. Food prices are a little too high so breakfast elsewhere.

Gem of a hotel in Port Angeles. Beautiful lodge decor that is bright and welcoming. We heard the pool was great and it was! Heated outside pool nestled away from the street near the golf course feels miles away from the city. Room was very nice. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Olympic Lodge. The room was very nice and comfy. Everything was really clean. We were on the second floor and there is a really nice patio with a water fall. The staff was helpful and very welcoming. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of how loud the upstairs was. We could hear the people above us until midnight and then early in the morning. I realize the lodge can't do anything about how loud people are, but I can't believe how well we could hear them. I would definitely stay again, but I would ask to have a room on the third floor.

This hotel was wonderful. The front desk was very accommodating and professional. The room was very clean and the bed was the most comfortable bed ever We had a great view of the pool and golf course and listened to the waterfall all night long. Close to down town and restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel.

Just as good as staying inside an Olympic National Park lodge, and more convenient for dining and transportation options! Service was excellent, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the lodge has a nice rustic feel to it without also feeling dated or unkempt.

We stayed two nights and enjoyed both. Check-in was easy and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean and there were plenty of outlets. Wifi was pretty reliable too.

We ate breakfast both days at the hotel, and the restaurant was good. It's a menu breakfast, and all of the meals we ordered were delicious. The pancakes and French toast were especially good. Wait staff were friendly and efficient, although it was obvious on our last day that someone hadn't shown up for work, so things were a bit bogged down.

The hotel has a great location, just off US 101 and about 10 minutes from the main visitor center for Olympic National Park. It's also right near the ferry landing for Victoria, and minutes away from several restaurants in Port Angeles.

All in all, a great stay at a great lodge!

Only 2 miles from the park's north entrance. It was cozy and the customer service was exceptional, so was the breakfast. We had a wonderful golf course view in our room.

Olympic Lodge is hands down the best place to stay while visiting the peninsula. From the moment you walk in, they have everything perfectly placed to be inviting as possible. Right down to the hot crackling fireplace, and smell leather. The people working there like there a jobs, and seem to really I care when you talk to them. I am a frequent visitor to Port Angeles, stay there every time I am there overnight. I suggest it to anyone visiting the area.

To be fair we didn't end up staying so a full review this is not. My husband (an injured veteran) and I were needing a hotel. Although we were actually travelling in an RV, complications with some of his injuries necessitated a night in a comfortable hotel.

After contacting the Olympic Lodge and speaking to a representative we were excited that the hotel had a military rate. Unfortunately, this rate was, from our minds, naive and misguided. The military rate was only available to "service members who were on active duty traveling alone."

These conditions alarmed me and broke my husband's heart. We didn't stay in this beautiful looking place because my husband (despite his discomfort) felt completely deflated by a myopic policy guidelines that ignores his 34 years service and a multitude of injuries that we and so many other veterans live with everyday.

We understand corporations don't have to give special rates but we sure do appreciate them when they do. In the future I hope this policy changes because 'Service Paid is Service Due.' In short it's not the government or the military organizations that need the special rates - it's the injured service men and women and their families that truly need the helping hand. Parameters on a military rate should be very simple: are you serving or have you served! This is exactly what the Super 8 did for us (as most other hotels have also done) and all we had to do is show the clerk my husband's ID card.
    We are truly disappointed.
