Played yesterday, the course was in fantastic shape, the green were fast, the fairways were pristine, the practice facility has a grass range, and the staff is gracious. I feel they could use a few more people to help on the staff but maybe they were busy because of a tournament. I have also read about people complaining about pace of play but our round was under 4&1/2 and we walked the course. The course challenges you at all levels and is a delight. The Olympic Peninsula has the best courses and value in the Seattle area and White Horse should be on your list to play. The ferry ride is a bonus experience.
It might be since it was my virgin run of the course, but it was a great experience. It kicked my butt, but it was a good butt kicking.
Staff was decent, range was excellent (pic attached) and the course was in great condition.
I love hitting off the grass and this range was perfectly set up to gauge your distance and abilities before playing.
Pace was solid this Labor Day Saturday at 3:08. We finished our twosome at 6:40. One group in front of us let us play through, but even the group in front of us move briskly enough to finish quick enough to get a timely dinner.
The greens had a mix, it appears of Bermuda grass and the normal grass you see on Golf mountain and other top courses. They were in incredible condition.
This might be an incredible find for folks looking for something different from the regular courses.
I would give it more like a 4.5 or so, but I'm opting for 5 since it was an incredible day.
Nice course. Poor service on the course. BYOB. And lazy attitude by staff when asked to address issues. For an upscale course, I shouldn't be walking an extra mile to get a beverage.
The course is shorter but challenging. Feet are never level greens are firm. Forget trying to get the ball to check up. I have played this course more than a dozen times. Always never fails to kick people's butts regardless of skill level.
Golf course is immaculate. Attention to detail is excellent. Very challenging with variety of shots required. Greens were hard for end of June, ball wouldn't check upless hitting high and hard wedge. Incredibly scenic and flight from L.A. was really cheap. Highly recommend if you want to play a gorgeous golf course in splendor.
Challenging course that makes you use a lot of clubs in your bag. Went in late March and course wasn't super soggy like most in the area. The restaurant was very nice looking but only had a beer so no comment on food at this time.
This is such a challenging course but that is what makes it so great. You really need to plot your way around. Played this course in February and I could not believe how great the condition of the course was despite a wet winter. And the greens were in immaculate condition and playing fast for winter. So impressed with this course
Great food! Try their house made chicken strips with chipotle ranch dipping sauce, it's only $7 and delicious. Beautiful views.
Great golf course. Challenging course but fun. Great greens and beautiful fairways. Great views. Long drive to get to the course but worth it.
Golf boards were a blast, Bruce and the staff we very kind. Treated my out of town family great.
