Beautiful course! Don't hit into the rough and your ball is gone, the tall grass will swallow your ball. Pretty flat, diglegs, trees and a few uneven lies to make it a little difficult. And the wind. Great course even with all that.

If you want a good place to practice, then this place is GO-TO destination. Did not play golf there - but it looked like a good golf experience based on it's popularity. But I spent about 4 days (20 hours total) practicing there and it is a "5" for range, chipping, sand, lob shots, and putting.

Great golf course and fantastic practice facilities. Staff is friendly and professional. I enjoy spending time with my son on the various practice facilities (putting green, 2 chipping locations, and full shots on driving range). The range card program is cost effective and ideal for my schedule.

Haven't been to many courses around the area yet, still new to CA, but this course is very fun to play. Easy to walk and a good challenge. There's usually a steady breeze. Well maintained. Gets busy at times but overall a great course.

Always enjoyed playing golf at this course as it is well maintained and a fun/ challenging course. Excellent practice facility with a great and affordable monthly practice plan which gives you unlimited range balls.
The only complaint is that they still do not have a proshop or restaurant. The double wide trailers drags the course down several levels to a 3 star rating.

It's a five star course. The lack of Club House will keep it from really hitting home with all the Golf Community.

I live in Valencia. Olivas Links is great for the summer months! Flat links that allow for walking the white tees. It can be challenging when the winds show up. Always in good condition. Don't let trailer minimize the facility. The Ventura Harbor eateries and bars are 1 mile west of the entrance gate. The snack bar is adequate for on-course service. If they add a clubhouse, they will charge $20-$25 more per round. We don't need it!
Friendly and courteous staff.
