Overall, the people are friendly, and my dental hygienist was really very good. However, the reason for the low score is the COST they charge for a cleaning is absolutely ridiculous: $231! The cleaning is $112 and then they charged another $119 for the dentist to come in, look in my mouth for maybe 2 minutes, say I need a cap, and leave. In other dental clinics, the quick exam by the doc is included in the cleaning. The previous dentist I went to charged $89 for cleaning, exam and x-rays. What Okun charges is far more expensive than what my mother paid in Los Angeles! Then, what's even worse, they have this "deal" where you pay $39 a month for two cleanings a year, which is $468, MORE than paying for the two cleanings individually. Some "deal"! If you are rich, and want to spend nearly $500 a year for a couple of dental cleanings, this is your clinic. For me, I'm moving on. PS: average cost for a crown in the Valley is $1200. Cost at Okun: $1785.

Okun is awesome. Don’t judge a book by its cover. The building is not very inviting but the staff completely make up for it. Everyone is friendly and the assistants and dr Amy really know what they are doing. They don’t push sales that make them more money which I really value. They are truly a trustworthy dental practice and after my first two visits can say they do care about their patients. I had a crown done here and my experience was amazing. They listened to my needs and got it done quickly with no complications. The crowns are done on site with cerec porcelain which was enticing to me since it can all be done within a few hours - my previous crowns were lab crowns done in porcelain and I feel the results I received with the cerec were much better. I will be going back to Okun for my dental needs as long as they meet my expectations which I think they have done very well.

I really like coming here. The dentist is friendly and very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Best dentist I have ever gone to. You pay a bit more here. But, worth it! You get what you pay for.

Dr. Amy & her staff are fabulous. Tori did an awesome job assisting Dr. Amy with my crown. All of the hygienists are super patient and do a fantastic job.
I am a huge baby, when it comes to dental work, so the fact that I'm giving raving reviews about a dental office says a lot. I'm very happy with the work they've done & I no longer have anxiety about something as simple as getting my teeth cleaned.response / report this review -

So happy I found Okun Dentistry - everything about this practice is wonderful and I have never felt so comfortable during dental visits. Everyone in the office is great but I especially appreciate Dr Okun - she explains everything, provides all possible options and gives me the space to make decisions. Going to the dentist is no longer stressful!
