  I love coming here every time I'm in the area. I truly miss NY pizza from my early days on the East Coast, and this truly hits the spot. Very nice guys working here, and I love the pizza, too, of course! Love the 90s alternative music and the whole atmosphere just exudes vintage NY pizzeria. Definitely stop by and grab a slice or two!

  A nice and cool retro style place that serves pizzas. We ordered some slices to-go on our stop through the area and the slices were awesome. The person at the counter was courteous and nice to talk to. He mentioned that the place has been in business since the 1980's. This was apparent in the retro cash register they were using, which definitely looked like from the 1980's!!!

  Do do you think pizza is good in New York? Psh, screw that come to Portland and try some Escape From New York Pizza. Great pizza, friendly staff and a wonderful atmosphere. Just a lovely place, highly recommend for anybody looking for some Delicious pizza.

  my favorite pizza in Portland
  -perfectly cooked thin crust every time
  -lots of cheese!
  -whatever sausage they use on sliced with sausage is AWESOME
  -definitely recommend a slice of the mushroom/green pepper/sausage pictured below if they have it

  Crust was thin, but not too thin. Perfectly crisped on the bottom but still the right amount of chew. Sauce was well seasoned with a deep but bright flavor. Cheese was ooey and gooey. We had the veggie pizza. Toppings were generous. Every bight was perfect.
