A nice place to walk. Two beautiful lakes with a mixture of wide open and narrow trails.

This is one of our favorite places to hike. There was quite a few Trails here and quite a bit to see. In addition it is very well maintained and the trails are hardly ever muddy even if when been raining quite a bit.

One my favorite places to go hiking. There are two areas of trails separated by a public road. While not crowded, usually you'll see someone else hiking, biking or cross country skiing here. Also popular with hunters, so keep that in mind.

A nice state forest for hikes, and primitive camping/backpacking. Unfortunately the experience is hurt by others leaving traces of old campsites, terrible "bushcrafted" half built shelters, and some trash here and there. Venture deeper into the forest on the trails and this disappears. Closest area for me to backpack and camp so I've been there a few times. I will definitely go back, just hope people begin to follow the leave no trace philosophy there a little better.
