Food ok. Service a bit slow.
I have enjoyed four different meals at this restaurant. My husband and I enjoy trying local places and this has certainly become one of our favorites. Meals are superb, with large portions. They have a changing menu which is very nice and comfortable seating. Our servers have always been attentive to our needs, and the atmosphere is casual/elegant. I really enjoy sitting outside in the summer when we go as they have nice patio dining as well. Most of all items on their menu can also be made gluten-free which is fabulous! The prices are reasonable for the dining experience in the food quality. They make their bread from scratch as well with local honey and butter. Love the spot!
Great atmosphere. Very comfortable. Best French fries in the area
If I could give them zero stars, I would.
Made reservations to take my visiting mother-in-law out to a nice dinner after her long day of travel. Had to wait to be seated in a sparsely occupied dining room. Our waiter went over the specials and took our drink orders. He returned and took our appetizer and entree orders. He then returned and told us there was only enough of the soup de jour for one of us we changed our orders and were brought our soups which we ate up and finished our drinks, then our empties were cleared and we were informed that our dinners would be right out. We spent the time catching up and noticing other customers come and go kept an eye on the kitchen door. We saw plates of what we ordered being served to the other tables around us, who were seated after us. We checked with our waiter twice, who each time said your dinners will be right out. One hour later we were still sitting waiting for our meal, with no offer of explanations, no offers of something more to eat or drink while we waited. We sat and watched 6 other table be seated, dineer served to them, some received dessert and some received their checks. We checked in with the maitre d, who again claimed ignorance and said she would check, but never returned with an answer. We got up and left. We told the front staff of our concerns and he offered up an empty "sorry" as he turned to clear our table from his seating chart. Time spent at oak & vine: 1 hour 45 minutes.
We will never return here and will never recommend it. We will be spreading the word of our experience.
We were sat at 6:20 and 6 other parties were sat down after us, and they all got their meals before us ate and some left or ate dessert Our food never came, the manager was very rude. Terrible experience, would NOT recommend this restaurant.
Food was amazing. Great place for a wedding.
Inexperienced cooks. Overcooked calamari. Overcooked steak. Bus person hurrying us out. Sloppy handling of drinks. Over-priced for the quality of food. Staff was sympathic and apologetic. Kitchen was terrible.
