Great stop after a day of traveling. Food was great. We had the beer and cheddar soup, calamari, beef kabobs and beef and brew stew. Only complaint is they don't offer bread.
We ended up here by chance, because a previous stop in the area was not working for us. I am so happy, because we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here! The staff is pleasant and attentive. The food was so delicious -- especially the beef! Every dish was delicious -- we will surely stop in again when we are in the area.
Second time here. Food was delicious. First trip was the 'make your own burger'. Tonight was chicken pot pie. While it was delicious, the cost didn't match the serving size! Service was ok, but not great. (It was a very busy Sunday night!) I would recommend to friends looking for a great beer list and yummy food.
This place was recommended to us by a local during our day trip to visit Seneca Lake. We were not disappointed. The beer list was impressive and the staff was attentive and friendly, but more importantly, the food was excellent! I had the pork chops and sauerkraut seasoned with brown sugar and apples. There are just no words to describe how wonderful it was. My husband had the beef stew, which was also excellent! I highly recommend!
We stopped by for a quick meal on our way back home. Everything was fantastic. I had the stew, definitely worth trying. Excellent service, young Noah was our server and he did a great job. We definitely recommend this place. We didn't have any beer but they have quite a selection.
Horrible service. Plain and simple. Bartender mostly ignored us and finally took two drink orders even though there were 10 of us. She was too busy filling the straws and stocking the bar to serve us. Absolutely the worst I have ever been treated in a bar. We finally got our table and that service was extremely slow and pathetic. Took for ever to get our drinks, waiter never came back after we started our meals, and I thought the food was just passable. Had the $11 beef on weck sandwich and it was okay even with the piece of grizzle in mine. I'd give the place a zero stars if I could. Never again will I eat there. Spend your money elsewhere, this place should be ashamed !!!
My wife and I had the shrimp and vegetable scampi. Portion was generous and you get (4) really big huge shrimp. I personally think it should have been (6) but whatever.
Entree tasted good.
We also had the 5 Spice Calamari, It was ok. Not terrible, but not great. ( Appetizer )
Dessert was the double chocolate cake, home made. That was really good. Too bad I didn't ask for a glass of cold milk.
We dined with a good friend from out of town, and we talked after having eaten our meal.
We weren't pushed out the door and weren't given the stink eye either.
Between the encyclopedia of beer choices, the tasty food with, in my opinion, generous meal portion. You just can't go wrong here.
Our server Michelle was nice as well and that's important that she gets a shout out.
(5) star review for large portion meal that was tasty. Like an unlimited unknown amount of beer choices and good service.
If you can make it to the beef and brew you should stop in and eat as well as drink beer.
You won't regret it.
My wife and I got merried here and the service, food, and atmosphere were excellent. The selection of drinks were outstanding as well.
Warm and quick service. My Irish Sheppards Pie was delicious! Enjoyed every bite!!
Great place. Actual traditional family pub. You don't have to drink beer to enjoy this place. Worth a 40 minute drive for beef and brew stew.
Tons of beer to choose from, the potato soup is delicious. Make sure you have a reservation at least for a Friday night. Nice place and friendly staff
Excellent in every way! Very good food, cooked perfectly, plus an abundant selection of beverages, all served by personable and caring people. The perfect example of your favourite place in your own home town.
