In July of 2019, we moved my mother into Oak Pointe of Maryville after she had lived a number of years at a facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. We were very impressed with Oak Pointe from the very beginning. The management and staff have always been very professional and pleasant from the time we first visited for a tour through the present time, 18 months after mom moved in. After she moved in, she had an emergency medical situation which turned into a hospitalization and an operation for her. The medical staff did a wonderful job working with her and with her family during that time and they were a tremendous help when she was finished with rehabilitation and ready to return to her room. A year ago, mom had to be transferred to an apartment in the memory care section of the facility and the transition was very smooth and painless for her. The memory care area is also one of the best facilities of its kind I have seen. Finally during the pandemic, the facility has communicated in a very timely manner about any issues associated with testing, visitation or infections. They have also been very proactive about helping to arrange video chats, facility visits and community parades for the benefit of the residents during the time of the pandemic. This is all very comforting in a time when we are most concerned about the well-being of our parents. Every time I have ever visited or called Oak Pointe, the staff has impressed me with their positive attitude and their sincere caring for their residents. I am so happy we made the decision for mom to live at Oak Pointe. I would highly recommend it to anyone else considering a move there.

Mom has been at Oak Pointe for about three years. She has a nice apartment and is very happy there. There are lots of activities to keep her busy and there are some very special people that work there. She has made lots of friends there and it is nice that we don't have to worry about her.

Oak Pointe is always clean and inviting. It is very homey and assistance is there when she needs it. She doesn't have to worry about cooking, cleaning, or doing laundry.

A wonderful place for your love one!

I am a physician and have had affiliation with several different nursing homes and assisted living throughout my career. My mother moved into Oak Pointe 3 years ago and I couldn’t be happier. Their care at every level is exceptional! They treat every resident like their own family. I feel peace knowing my mother is in a safe and caring facility. I highly recommend Oak Pointe of Maryville.

Oak Pointe was the best decision my parents ever made. This place works so hard to have activities and events for the residents all the time. The staff is like family. They were so caring when my Dad passed and have taken extra special care of my Mom since. I highly recommend.

Our mother moved into Oak Pointe when they opened. The staff has always been so caring and helpful. During this time of Covid restrictions which does not allow us to come in the facility to help with the small things and give her socialization, the staff is doing their best to fill the void. Our mother has lost a lot of mobility during this time which requires more assistance. They work very hard to be sure she is well cared for.
