I personally enjoyed my tour with Shay she was very helpful. She made my experience more comfortable it was like talking with someone who knows what I’m looking for with my Mothers Care and living needs.
Was very appreciate the manager showing us the apartment tour and explaining the price of the apartment and for seeing us on short notice we really appreciate it
Garden Plaza is a very nice facility and it offers all of the amenities that I wanted for my relatives who now reside at this senior living community. It is very well decorated inside with well landscaped and manicured grounds outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful to the residents and their family as well. This is the only facility that I know of that has a Veterans Room. What a wonderful way to honor veterans by displaying military memorabilia from the armed forces. I am very pleased with Garden Plaza and I would recommend it to anyone who wanted, “the next best thing to being at home”, for their family member.
The Sales staff listened to me explain the situation/condition of my Aunt and Uncle. They expressed compassion and concern for their wellbeing. After answering my concerns, Georgia explained the services available at Garden Plaza of Florissant and how my Aunt and Uncle would be treated.
Garden Plaza of Florissant is so much better than what was promised. Every staff member I have encountered is genuinely concerned about the care and well being of the residents. Staff communicates clearly and timely. They offer suggestions as to how the family can help make the transition as smooth as possible. My Uncle loves the facility and can't wait to get more involved in the activities provided. Garden Plaza of Florissant; THEY ARE A CARING TEAM.
My 87 yr old dad broke his leg in Jan 2017 requiring surgery/rehab for over 2 months. My mom w mild dementia also needed care. The 2 bedroom/2 bath unit at The Bridge was perfect for their individual needs once he got out of rehab. Adjusting from their large 2 story home has been a challenge but many staff members have continually been attentive to be sure they are accommodated physically and emotionally. Even the chef caters to their requests to keep them happy. We have been looking for the "perfect" senior community for about 5 years hoping to convince my parents (dad) that the stress of maintaining a large home PLUS caring for a wife with dementia was too taxing on our whole family. We had been on the wait list at The Bridge for a couple of years and each time a unit came available we turned them down. It took his broken leg to force the change. We are still working on their acceptance of moving from the home they both loved which is a process; thus the reason for 4 stars. My hope is we are nearing the 5 star rating as they continue to join more activities and grow with their new friends that they have made. The atmosphere at The Bridge is VERY clean with manageable hallways that are not ridiculously long to go from one event to the other like some places we have visited. The respect and care for Veterans is also something we cherish; there is a Veterans museum room that is a "must see". After immersing ourselves with all of the comparisons between senior living communities, we are relieved to have found this safe, caring, clean new HOME for our parents.
