In my life experience, Oak Hallow has always been a great place. My children attend camp and I have never felt as if they were anything but safe. I appreciate businesses that Book events equally among customers.

Every time I have been to Oak Hollow I have never had a bad experience. The food is always amazing, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and the grounds are well maintained, and the oak trees are always absolutely breathtaking.
I am shocked and saddened to see that some individuals would actually write negative reviews about Oak Hollow Farm because of their ethical and moral business practices.
It is comforting to know Oak Hollow does not discriminate against anyone wanting to have an event there. No matter what kind of event YOU have in mind, EVERYONE is treated the same. Thank You!response / report this review -

They were hosting a child petting zoo with Roy Moore. I brought my child there to pet the ponies but they said the ponies were in the back barn and that is was children only. Little Timmy really wanted to see the ponies so I let him go on his own. When he came back he said there were no ponies but a nice old man with a big cowboy hat let him sit on his lap and played tickle with him. Overall he said it wasn't fun and he didn't want to go back so I am giving this 1 star as there should have been ponies for a petting zoo.

My daughter and I went for a trail ride here. The guides were super nice and helpful. The ride was way longer than I expected and went through a hilly forest, which was delightful. The horses were approachable and well suited for my daughter, who is a beginner. This farm is absolutely beautiful and kept extremely neat and clean. We started out at the event venue, which was gorgeous, and had a fun hay ride to and from the stable. The price was very reasonable, too. I highly recommend you visit Oak Hollow Farm when in the area.

This place is so beautiful. They do weddings and special events. They have LOTS of horses for horseback riding trips for groups. The food is very good. The people who run the place are super nice. They have games and rope swings set up to keep kids occupied. Best field trip i have ever been on with my son's school!

We brought our four children, ages 3-9, to go horseback riding and had a great time!! The staff was so accommodating and helpful!! One of our daughters was very scared to go and they went out of their way to put her at ease!! All the horses were very well trained and extremely friendly!

Does not have adequate wheelchair accessibility. My friend and coworker almost crashed and fell out of his seat because of a small 2 to 3" dropoff. Has a dirt/mulch floor so a wheelchair doesn't get around well at all.

Extremely disappointed in the service here. I called one afternoon trying to schedule a horseback riding lesson a few weekends ahead for our 2nd anniversary and was told to call again the next morning with the words "I promise we will have a slot for you on that date." The next morning I called as I was instructed to do and was told that they were not accepting any horseback riding bookings for the entire weekend due to Mardi Gras. We were only going to be in town for the weekend, so I was disappointed, but I understood. I called a few days later with plans to ask about what the facility hours would be for the week before and after our trip - we were considering changing our trip to come early or leave later if needed. At that time I was told, "Oh yes, we've decided we can do horseback riding on Saturday! (The original day I wanted.) I ended up scheduling for Monday, which I was assured would work fine as well, since we had made plans for Saturday morning. At that time, I was just thankful that I had thought to call again, or I would have never known that we could come after all.
Monday morning, the day of our ride, I get a call 20 minutes before we planned to leave for the farm, saying that there's no way they can do a ride today. We could have come any other day that weekend if that would have worked better.
It's understandable that they may not have been able to book horse-back rides for the weekend of Mardi Gras. I get it. I just wish they had been consistent in this or given me more than 20 minutes notice of a cancellation on the day we were supposed to come. We might have been able to rearrange our schedule to come on a better day. Very sad we won't be able to go. ): I'd really been looking forward to it.
We were offered a gift certificate, but I'm not sure we'll be planning on coming back anytime soon.response / report this review -
